Just arrived yesterday (Monday Feb 6), pretty tired but wanted to do some exploring just to see what's up. Things ended up being insane.

Full disclosure. My tastes trend towards the expensive, and I was / am hosting a guest.

Visited Billboard at 11 PM with a friend. Place was packed, no sofas infilled, no tables available. Only bar stools. She was a bit apologetic, advised that Mondays were slow and we were kinda late (which was fair). Advised that if we came Wednesday at around 10, she would have 150 girls available. Even so, the average quality was very high, much higher than anywhere else I visited, and I'm picky (Chinese American, very Asian standards). Was able to find a super hot one and an attractive one. Both very slim, early / mid 20's, very good English. Bought a good bottle, played drinking games for almost 2. 5 hours before leaving at 2 AM. I let my friend have the super hot one, and while she initially said she wouldn't go to the hotel (because she had to get up early for her job in finance), she later told my friend that she'the be willing to see him privately. I kinda looked forward to a relaxing massage with happy ending and some good conversation in Chinese. Instead, what I got was a Thai ladyboy who insisted she was Korean, refused to leave when asked, and demanded 80 k (baht while screaming at me. Was genuinely a bit scared. Eventually had to ask security to take her away, and they were as bemused / shocked as I was. Got different keycards from them, tipped the two security guys 1 k baht each because they probably saved me from a heart attack. Now I'm trying to unwind from this crazy end to what was a pleasant evening.

Minimum spend for entry is either 1 k baht entry fee per guest (comes with two drinks for each guest), OR crack a 4 k baht minimum bottle for the group. However, seating also has minimums. If you want one of the nice couches, you or your group needs to pick at least three girls, whereas if you choose one of the four-seater tables, only one girl needs to be picked. I believe they will store remaining liquor for you, but unsure since was first trip. Mixers were free. RE the mamasan tip, I did a lot of KTVs and I would call it an optional tip you should definitely give. You probably can not give it, but as she's the gateway to the girls it's a fairly bad idea and bad form if you think you might ever be a repeat visitor. Did not request to take out, so didn't inquire further on if there is a barfine or not, but previous reports I read said there is not.

FYI. It also seems the website is somewhat out of date. The WeChat barcode leads to a group which has been blacklisted by the app, the pricing part talks about a 20 k for 6 bottles package (is only 5 now) and a 30% discount on girl fees as a "gold member" if you buy the package (said discount no longer exists), the girl requirement on the site says 0/4 for table / couch (is actually 1/3 now), etc. So, just be aware.

Followed inside my room when I told her to wait outside as I was trying to message the Telegram guy to find out if this was a genuine mixup or something, stripped immediately as she got in, then when I told her to please dress she got angry and told me that she came all the way from KTV and she wanted her 80 k. Even after I called for security, she argued half-naked with THREE JW security guards for another 15 minutes in my room before finally leaving. Even the security night manager was in disbelief, joking with me that he had heard of 8 k or even 10 k, but never 80 k and that she had confirmed with him as well that she wanted 80 k, so it wasn't a language issue.
