You hit it on the head. She absolutely didn't merit that price by industry standards. Just as you said, I was so annoyed by the ladyboy debacle from the previous night, I was kind of in "fuck it" mode. I didn't really care what the price was, I finally saw someone I wanted to fuck, so I fucked her. It was kind of a rebound situation. Recently completed another trip, mid Jan. Early Feb. 7 days in BKK, 8 in Phuket, 4 in Pattaya, 5 in BKK. Too lazy to write separate reports in each thread so I'll just do it here.

BKK: Everything's pretty much back in full swing compared to last year when they first opened with the whole SHA+ thing. Both Nana and Cowboys are as busy as ever. Only barfined once from Bacarra on recommendation but it was a great time. Doki Doki and Kokoro appear to be very busy, highly recommend making reservations, although a bit of a crapshoot given the rotation of girls and general lack of info. Soapy massages are up and running but I didn't partake. Sidelines is even better than last year. Did not get rejected at all for being a foreigner this year compared to about a 3/4 success rate last year. Strong correlation between price and looks, service was good for all girls with a few stand outs. Visited 9 girls ranging from 1 to 5 k base price range, ended up seeing 3 girls multiple times. I found that girls that operated under agencies generally had more photoshopped pictures. Many agencies and independents will send more pictures and location info automatically when you add them on Line, so no harm in doing that if you just want some more info to help with the filtering process.

Phuket: First time. Beautiful place but I wish I had visited when the sandbox first opened and the place wasn't packed with people. Bangla Road was a blast but the prices in gogos were the highest out of any destinations this trip, and I did not barfine as I imported a girl from Bangkok. FWIW I didn't see many stunners anyways. Also did not seek out massages or other FLs. Booked day trips but those were pretty mediocre, will just plan and hire my own long boat next time around.

Pattaya: Same as BKK. Walking Street busy as ever and Beach Road is lined with FLs. I did notice that some gogos did not survive and heard many changed owners. Also noticed that in general the quality of the girls have decreased although still many stunners. Soapy massages are open (Honey 2 and Sabai Dee anyways). Ended up taking 3 FLs priced between 1500 and 2500ST, and one girl for 4500 LT. 1 each from WeChat, Beach Road, and Tantan. All were average. The rest were barfines from gogos, 1 each from Pin-up and Xs (same operation I believe) and 2 from Bacarra. Gogo girls ended up being between 6-9 k for LT including barfine. All were excellent as I worked off of past contacts.

Hotels: Stayed at JW and Sheraton in BKK. First time at the JW, right next to Nana but further from a BTS station. Room, lounge, pool, and service are all pretty good. Sheraton is right next to Asok and Cowboy. Rooms are more old school compared to JW, but still well maintained. No lounge but there are a couple of decent restaurants and bars in building. Pool is ok, service is excellent. No issues with girls at either location. I'm Plat with Marriott, didn't get upgraded at JW, got upgraded to the basic suite at Sheraton, which I was surprised by as it is high season. You may get prioritized if you're a repeat stay as I got a welcome letter specifically mentioning that. No issues with bringing a girl back or having them sent up to my room at either location.

Stayed at Four Points in Phuket, a bit far from Bangla and a bit pricey for what it offers. Rooms are on the small side and they seemed understaffed. I do believe it is girl friendly given past reports from seniors but there were a lot of families when I was present, and you have to bring your date through an open check in area where all of the traffic flows through unless you've got a pool or sea view room in a side building. Did not get upgraded.

Stayed at Hilton in Pattaya. No upgrade this year but the basic room is still excellent for its size and view, although very pricey. No issues with girls, they do check their ID downstairs at the luggage desk.

Apps: Highlight of this trip for me was amateur FLs from Tinder and Insta. It took a lot of effort but produced the best girls of this trip both in terms of looks and service. I had built up contacts from past trips which I was able to capitalize on this time around as many of these girls are back in BKK. Took a while to get the ball rolling but once I was in, these girls talk with each other and they took care of the search for me. All were university students or young professionals with instas with thousands to tens of thousands of followers, and all were exclleent. Took the best girl with me to Phuket and had full GFE for the whole trip, ended up giving her 1 k USD for the 8 days. I didn't negotiate price with any of the other girls but gave 10 k to each for overnights, which all extended into late next days and requests to meet again from all of them. Expensive by BKK standards but I prefer quality over quantity myself. Back in the states for a couple of days now and still getting DMs from girls wanting to meet.

I used WeChat much less this trip. Mostly saw LBs, and from the girls I did talk to, ended up seeing 3. 1 was a gem, 1 was average, and 1 was a dud that I kicked out after 10 minutes. Tantan had a lot higher ratio of FLs to regular girls than Tinder, but most of these seem to be targeting Chinese / Korean / Japanese. I'm Asian American so I got by. Prices for girls off of Tantan were often higher than FLs, in the range of 2000-3500ST and up to 15000 LT. I pulled 2 STs, 1 average and 1 dud, after which I didn't bother. TF ended up more or less being a bust, the quality of girls was way lower than any other app, and the few stunners I did see were unresponsive.

Other observations: Did not get BBFS from many gogo girls but otherwise had a lot of success this year. From talking with the girls it sounds like Thai guys don't like to give oral, and it seems like that combined with the clean tests I brought with me did the trick. Got BBFS with a few girls from fiwfans and all the amateur FLs. Everywhere (except Rawai) was packed with tourists, although not as many East Asians when compared to previous years, and definitely not as many Chinese, although I suspect that will change given the timing and circumstances. Prices are up across the board for everything, from girls, barfines, drinks to hotel, food and Grab. Seems to be a combination of both inflation and rise in demand. No issues with an eSIM on arrival at BKK for those of you with one of the newer phones without a physical SIM. ATMs are still trash with the DCC trap, and it seems like all the Thai banks have added mandatory fees for not using DCC. The Superrich cash exchange outside of Terminal 21 has massive fucking lines every single day, I'd highly highly recommend going to another location. Many of the high end restaurants are booked out by several weeks online, but I was able to get reservations by calling in almost all of the time.

Two alternatives for anyone the next time in a major hotel in BKK. First, if you don't have a known person who you can call, the best bet is to ask the security supervisor for a recommendation. He might take offense, but more than likely he has a list of preapproved / prescreened girls that you rely on. He may make a small commission from the girl and you should definitely tip him as well.

Second alternative, take a melatonin and go to sleep. A restful night is better than the nightmare that was described here!

As someone that hasn't been to Thailand, how hard is it when sober to not be able to tell it's a ladyboy. I would like to think I could tell but being Asian guys are smaller in general they could spend enough to look like a girl.

Security service completely incompetent, they don't have talk to "her" for 15 minutes in your room, if she refuses to come out, right away, they have to call the police, and at the same time that you could have taken the opportunity to file a complaint against "her" for attempted extortion.

What happened was that she was masked and at the elevator entrance right as I went down to get her, so my natural instinct was to just let her on the elevator and chat with her a bit. It was by the time that we had already gotten to my floor that I realized she didn't speak a lick of Chinese, and it was then that things began to go downhill per my report. I just didn't expect her to barge into my room after me, because that's never happened in 10+ years!

I recommend a pass on the private rooms, especially if karaoke is your thing. I may check out a different gentleman bar to see if there are any truly decent ones.

You can never be 100% sure, but don't be afraid to ask. Also if she is interested in going back to your room she will not mind you putting your hands between her legs and doing a quick check.

Easiest tells are voice, Adam's apple, height, and shoulder to hip ratio. More subtle tells are exaggerated female motions (hip swing, hair toss, etc.). Ladyboys often use more aggressive sales pitches than girls. The crotch rub is not foolproof, I once did that and could feel heavy under ware, so I passed. Later a friend told me that ladyboys tuck their junk back to their butt crack so you cannot feel any male parts. If there is a shred of doubt, be sure to ask and say that no money if "she" is a ladyboy in the room.
