I always have a hard time locating Cafe Havana in Makti. I actually had a couple cab drivers who could not find it. Any suggestions on directions?
LA Cafe was, in my mind, a great place if you were patient, and skillful at avoiding the dregs. I did not always score there, but when I did I was rarely disappointed.
Been in the Amazon a number of times, it is filled with low grade talent. Once, when a little drunk, I pulled a gal out of there. Was same old story, when she got her clothes off she had, among other imperfections, a stab scar on her stomach that was hideous. Service was absolutley terrible.
If LA Cafe does not re-open I just may pass on stopping in Manila.
Having visityed LAC a number of times I always prefer Havana Cafe in Makati. Have never been a great fan of LAC and saw no reason to go there when IMHO better alterantives around. However, i would still vsist when seeking variety or with otehr mongers who wanted the experience. But each has his own flavour and if you are staying in Malate then fine.
Try Havana Cafe in Makati...lots of cuties, better quality IMHO, similar prices and a nice atmosphere. Even the Starbucks next it has proven successful hunting ground for me
But remember it is in Makati not Malate as FSlag388 once called me and said Havana was a dead zone and why did I like the place so much as no girls...until I pointed out he was in the wrong location :)
Will be there soon and will enjoy the delights of Havana again
Have fun
And they usually wind up doing the most harm.
Ok ok nice private experiences of you but, is there any bar/club (manila/angeles) that have girls dressing in schoolgirls? Or arrange party?
LAC used to have 'school girls' night when the show dancer used to dress up as school girls, more like high school type, with the boots and all ..
Kinky.. damn, I miss LAC
I always have a hard time locating Cafe Havana in Makti. I actually had a couple cab drivers who could not find it. Any suggestions on directions?
Get off at Greenbelt, and look for the Starbucks at Greenbelt, or Chicago Coffee (or what is something like California coffee ??)
If i remember, it is Greenbelt 2, so, once you are in Greenbelt, walk around looking for the starbucks, just next to it is Havana - though it starts getting active in the evenings..
Another clue for the location - it is at level 2, directly below the Banana Leaf Restaurant at Level 3.

I think its in G3. Its right next to Starbucks. Ask for starbucks when you get into the Greenbelt mall. I'm assuming you meant Makati, and not Malate.
I always have a hard time locating Cafe Havana in Makti. I actually had a couple cab drivers who could not find it. Any suggestions on directions?
Just ask any cabdriver for Greenbelt 3 in Makati. Each Greebelt is not too large so you should be able to find it within #3.

Taxi drivers may not know about Havana Cafe in Makati because it has no "shopfront" and is inside a large mall. If they never go in the mall then they wouldn't know.
Just ask them to take you to Greenbelt 4 (or to drop you opposite the New World Hotel) and you can ask a security guard if you don't stumble across it.
I always have a hard time locating Cafe Havana in Makti. I actually had a couple cab drivers who could not find it. Any suggestions on directions?
It's right in the middle of Greenbelt, silly. Ask for Greenbelt, not Havana Cafe, then in Greenbelt ask for Havana.

First timer
Hi fellow mongerers,
I'm planning a first time trip to phillipines for 8 days. I would like some suggestions of where to find the hotest chicks and what to pay? I'm going to AC, Borocay and manilla. And also any advice of what the girl scene is like in Borocay?
Any suggestions for a first timer and good advice would be appreciated.
Thank you

I wish it was that simple. I have actually had cab drivers who looked at me like I was from mars (douleur bonne).
Besides the starbucks, any other landmarks near by?
Thanks.
