I've had some chicas that weren't as open with their personal info until we'd been more regular together, and then there's some that that've told me their real name over first drinks, so it just varies with each. I guess we just have to develop our own personal BS-meter for what real or close-enough to real in this game.

This is an interesting point to argue. Getting to know their real name is an obvious first step to getting to know them better. Its can be a pivotal step from being a nobody (John) to becoming a somebody. I would like to hear the opinion of a senior member like COUNTRY JOHN, for example, he has always thrown out solid "Monger Knowledge" on many many topics. In my experience, it can help, but to what degree is almost on a case by case basis. I've always gotten to know the real names of all the chicas I've been with if it was more than one encounter. It can't hurt, I'll say that much. You're starting to dip into that funny gray area, where their may be the beginning of something, what exactly? To be determined. The problem with SG / WG / BG / MG is that they have way way too many secrets. Her giving up her "real" name, is just one of a million secrets. It's a good start though. Let's say she tells you something a little juicer like where she's staying, how many bf's she really has / had, her financial situation, reasons for getting in the business, her "real" intentions with you, etc. Its a pivotal process, and I know senior members can shed a lot of light on this subject.

I remember I asked a WG once, how much money would it take to walk away from that life. You'd be surprised by their answers. Some can't even give you one because they have no other marketable skills, hence no way out. Peace.

I will say this much, the word "Mi amor" can be heard everyday depending on where you go in Colombia. Undisputable. Since Colombia is machista, and most of the sales force is made up by young attractive women, any possible reference almost always goes back to "Mi Amor". Joe Arturo's point about putas being emotionally killed and unavailable to love would be the challenge of all challenges in one's lifetime. It's probably not worth it, but imagine you wooing a pro that has been scorned, burned and jaded. If one reached such a goal, you'd have one DOWN ASS ***** on your hip. The ultimate Bonnie and Clyde scenario. It's possible, but the odds are against you and they can pull off Academy Award Performances.

However I don't think we hardly ever use our names. Whether it is her or my talking every sentence seems to start with Mi Amor. As a matter of fact I was getting so used to saying Mi Amor I almost called the waiter Mi Amor.

I have yet to make a decision on how to interpret my ATF giving me her name, actually the 1st time she told me was last Friday, which would have been our 3rd or 4th encounter, which is more than a year after our first encounter, what makes me give her credit too is, despite the very few times we have actually met in the past, she remembers my name the 2nd time we met and onwards, and while having lunch yesterday, she was so lovingly patient in helping me pronounce her name correctly, spell it and also give me her last name.

Maybe I am reading this too much, which, I guess is part of the fun anyways.

I am itching to head down there again tonight, but we will see, anyone crazy enough to join me?

I told her that I was done and got the hell out of there.

TB. Went to TB and no girls there were my type. I did not stay long.

CB. Chicago bar was empty. There were a couple girls that seemed desparate since there were no guests and a few of them were cute but I left.

Playboys. I had never been here before but the door guy insisted I check it out. Why not? So, inside there were a few people including one cute girl at the bar who seemed wasted. And one other cute one that he introduced me to. She was hot but I wasn't in the mood for her. Upstairs was dead. Dead. Dead.

SW2. As my previous encounter had left me with the impression that all SW would be that lame, I ran into SW2. SW2 had something about her that made me think she would be good; not to mention she was my type. Young and slim (and hot). We went upstairs and she was really good. I would repeat in a heatbeat.

I actually visited quite a few more places but nothing noteworthy to mention. In summary, tonight was a real sausagefest. I've done many Tijuana visits and this one had the highest sausage ratio ever. Just going 100% off what you are writing it sounds like maybe you're trying to talk yourself into thinking this girl is different or maybe GFE will become GF. Unfortunately it's a mistake that most guys have to make atleast once, sometimes over and over again to realize they need to seperate the two. Have you thought about trying a spanish dating site or something? Also I think you should throw away google translator. Check out odesk. Com, hire a translator for like 2-4$ per hour and translate things correctly. Google translator is great for words, but anything more and she is probably straining to understand what you are saying. I only know this because the same is true in reverse. There are just so many girls down in your area and Tijuana that aren't already whoring it up. It would be nice to meet one that speaks a little english, but there is something sexy and practical about not know what they are saying. I wish I didn't know what the hell my wife says most the time if not all the time.

Unfortunately for me, I have been down similar paths before too many times (al beit in Asia) and 50% of the time it turned out fine and the other 50% just plain disastrous.

Saturday report.

HK1. Went around 2pm and it was a great atmosphere, as I expect with HK. I sat down and was introduced to a very pretty girl who was my type (she was the forth or fifth one who was brought over). We went upstairs and had a good time.

El Museo. Okay, this isn't directly related to mongering. But damn, this restaurant is amazing. It is right on Revolution on the corner of the action. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for food in between the adventures.

HK2. Made my way back there around 6pm trying to get there before the night crowd arrived. Luckily, I sat down in a good spot because this really hot chica had a friend who was dancing 2 feet in front of me. I eventually got her to sit down next to me and she had just enough time to go arriba before she had to perform. Arriba we went. She was really good and afterwards she told me to hang out and watch her show. About 15 minutes later, she took the main stage and did a big strip show with countless cups of milk. As I watched, I thought "damn, she is hot". I'm glad I took her upstairs before she was covered in milk and soggy dollar bills. (Natalia)

HK3. After an evening intermission including a nice dinner at Ticuan and a short nap, I went back out at 11pm. I sat down and watched. Waiting for someone to catch my eye. Then I saw this tall, slim, beautiful chica walk by and go upstairs. She was too far way for me to say anything but I knew what I wanted. After finishing my drink, I made my way upstairs and walked around to see if I could spot her. Luck was on my side because I did run into her on the far side upstairs and asked her to sit down and have a drink with me. After talking a bit, I found out that it was her first night at HK (but not the last). Her price was 80$, which she told me before going arriba. I agreed. She was worth a premium IMO. It is tough to find a girl who is around 6', much less pretty and slim. She was worth every cent. (Kim)

SW4. After HK3, I was pretty tired but I ran into my favorite SW while getting tacos. I had to spend some time with her. I couldn't finish the deed before the time limit. But for 26$, I can't complain a bit.

In summary, HK is awesome. I walked through AB at least 4 times tonight and a few other bars without seeing anything of interest. It is only 2AM, so I'm going to check out Las Pulgas.

One of the independents in CR who works infrequently. We hooked up before I knew she was a provider and I didn't find out about her side-business until a few days later (she never asked for money). It just doesn't work. The girls label you as either BF material or hobbiest / sugar daddy / random guy. In my case, I do believe she really liked me. But at the same time, she knew I was on vacation and anything real wasn't practical. I wish you the best and I do believe that if you really want it, it can happen. However, I doubt that she considers you to be as serious as you consider her. Just rememeber that these girls have been through hell and back. That's why they are in this profession.

I don't post an awful lot. But I also want to warn guitar that maybe 0. 5% of these women are looking for a real gringo boyfriend. Don't go all PLM on us and start throwing bad money after good on a GFE experience. Just go and enjoy Tijuana for what it is. When you start looking for a girlfriend in a working girl. You're going to walk away dissappointed 99. 5 percent of the time!

Being the cheapskate that I am, I am very cost conscious and by averaging out the cost that I spend specifically on a chick during each trip, I think I am just about doing fine.

Generally a guy who thinks his hooker "GF" loves him, he knows he loves her, he spends money on her constantly, buys her anything she wants, follows her around like a puppy, etc, etc. Maybe not all of the above, but you get the idea. You've seen 'them. And SEA is full of 'them, too. Guys that send beaucoup bux to some BG, every month, because she promised him that she loved only him, would stop peddling her ass and move home and wait only for him.

In my experience, the Tijuana working ladies don't want a BF as you and I define BF. I like to call it a LTCR, or Long Term Commercial Relationship. If you get along well, and "click," you may become one of her "faves." When you visit you'll have a good time, do interesting things, have a lot of fun in and out of la cama. But, at the end of the day, money will always change hands. The amount may change, but it will never go away. Unless you tell her you love her, you put a ring on her finger, move to Mexico and support her.

One example is my fave who retired to Chiapas several years ago. She enjoyed my visits because she didn't have to spend another long night in the club, with the noise and the cig smoke, etc. In her words, she could "relax, have good sex, have a good time." Not too long into this LTCR, it became "whatever you can pay me," which I liked. But, regardless of the good time, there was always payment due. She had to pay the rent and send money home.

So, if this sort of arrangement suits you, then the Tijuana girls may be right up your alley. But a true BF / GF or FWB arrangment is much more difficult to find.
