Hey fellas, can you help a brother out. I will be visiting Sousa for the first time on May 3, 2010. What would you guys say is a good hotel to stay that is chica friendly. I am leaning towards the Sousa Bay Resort, but I am not sure if it is girl friendly. I been researching the reports that have been submitted. I like the beach and really don't like to stay at ground zero of the action. I generally like to grab something and slink off to my cave.
I have visited Punta Cana (with girlfriend) Santo Domingo, Boca Chica and Samana. I have been fortune and find the occasional gem in Boca Chica and Santo Domingo.
I had a Dominican date when I visited Samana, but it really a quiet place and we just chilled out.
I only speak a little Spanish, however I often mistaken for a Dominican. I guess due to my mixture of Native American and Black.
I sometimes like to have a double booty date, (a habit that I picked up in Rio. Anyone's input would be appreciated.

thanks jaosousa, it's actually on your way heading to sosua on the right hand side maybe 2 or 3 miles from the airport.
Last I heard, it was only open on weekends. That may change in summer with kids out of school.

Other parts of Sosua Bay Hotel are for tourists who pay for an all inclusive package and is not chica friendly. If you book online for Sosua Bay Hotel make sure you book for the section that is chica friendly. One block away from Sosua Bay Hotel are El Neptuno condominium apartments. Two bedroom/two bathroom condominium apartments in a nice quiet building.

Well we just finished up talking about Cabarete. Maybe you should look into staying there. It is 10 minutes from "ground zero" and you definitely "slink back off to your cave" after you've found what you are looking for in Sosua :)
I do not know about the hotel set up in Cab though, but you shouldn't have any problems as long as she has her ID I'm guessing (since most people who stay in Cabarete show up as couples or families).

Without any doubt the best place to stay as of right now. Nice clean rooms, friendly management and staff.
I'm planning to visit Sosua soon for the first time from the reports will probably stay at the Terra Linda. A rental car for a week is less than $200 and I'm considering renting one. I understand that the taxi fare to and from pop is approx. $40. Is the Terra Linda walking distance to the action in Sosua? Also, is there safe parking near the bars in Sosua? I would also take a day and drive up and down the coast to sightsee; would that be safe to do?
