I have no problems at all with teens having sex. As a matter of fact, I support sex education in the schools. But I do have a problem with older men taking advantage of children. That is what I have an issue with. And 18 years old is not what I am talking about . I am talking about 14 and 15 year old girls that some of these guys are looking for. It's not so much of a problem when you are 15 and having sex with a 14 year old (as long as you use protection). But these are grown, sometimes very old men. And they don't want to just have sex with these girls, they want to extreme things with these girls. There is no consent because some of these young girls don't even have a clue what the customers want to do to them. That's what I have issues with. I agree 100% with you that PROSTITUTION can be a mental problem for somebody above or below 18. But I think it is even more of a problem with the under 18 set.

with Paragraphs, punctuation? it seems lately that posters just write their posts without paying attention. It is very difficult to read and looks like a BIG turd in the middle of the page.

people that are mentally warped that want to have sex with children, very young ones, are not influenced by "morals" at all. its the law that is needed to stop them.

We all work the most well paid jobs that we can get and that are not too illegal. The Tulip girl used to work a good regular job, but simply not enough money!

Period. It does not matter what local law provides. The Thai government and police are well aware of this, and consider it a U.S. matter.

Not to put too fine a point on this.....however it may have escaped the attention of those enjoying the debate, there are many members who are not US Citizens and therefore do not give a damn about US Law attempting to extend itself beyond its borders.

For many of us, wherever we are, the 'Law of the Land' applies and with regard to the age of the participents, provided we abide by same, we should have no problems.

The fact that we are breaking the law by engaging in acts related to prostitution doesnt seem to bother most mongers either.

Furthermore I am intrigued by those who seem to think that there is a seperate 'age related' law for P4P in Thailand - Basically, as in many countries, Prostitution is illegal, regardless of age etc.
The 'legal age of sexual consent' applies, regardless of whether you are paying for it or not.

According to the avert list, the AoC is 16 for traveling US citizens, anyway. It seems to be a knee jerk reaction that the moment a girl reaches 18, she is no longer a child and therefore fuckable. But I have met 20 year old with the emotional devlopment of a 10 year old and known 15 year old (not biblically;)) who acted like 25 year olds. How do you quantify emotional development and the point where a child becomes a woman. Its impossible.
