Oh yeah, I heard the Hilton in Laguito will let you pay for the use of their gym too. Probably expensive but adequate.

I'll be in Cartagena from Tuesday 11th Sept and have a few questions.
What are the strip clubs like? Are they full nude? Are the lap dances worthwhile?
Whats best place to pick up regular girls; I speak fluent Spanish.
I want to get some photos to post in the forum; are girls generally willing to be snapped or will they want a lot of money?
I'm looking for a private apartment for $80-$100 per night that is girl friendly and close to the action so any contact details would be greatly appreciated.

Davienda gives up to 720, 000 per withdrawal, Servi is 780, 000 but has a 5, 500 fee that is ADDED to amount withdrawn. CitiBank is even more but not sure if the Boca location (Blockbuster) is still open. Contact Juan Ventura for an apartment, most in Laguito are ok for chicas with I'd's. There are many touts for apts, etc, in Cartagena, be careful.

I have stayed at too many places with down right shitty safes or boxes that were run of the mill Sentury letter boxes that one key fits all and or weren't even bolted down. Also invest in a cable to tie all your stuff together to the bed, it is common sense to have all your shit locked away especially if you do TLN.

I've had success with the ATMs in Cartagena and I don't always have success with ATMs in other parts of the world.
If I have cash, I put it in a suitcase that I lock.
I know a group that had girls staying day in and day out with them and one guy had an ipod turn up missing. They really had their guard down and that wasn't anything that big of a deal anyways. If you are bringing them back for an hour or so, the chances of something bad happening are even less. You walk from LDV to one of the beach apartments and they show their I'd to the main desk who writes their I'd number down. So they tend to behave and are also generally nice and down to earth people. Many of them want to remain friends with you (they give you their real name and # and facebook info)
