My recommendation on Barcelona has and always will be -- plan the visit as a tourist and walk wherever you can. If need, the metro and buses are fantastic.

So as promised, here's a report from my recent trip to Barcelona.

Bars, restaurants and recreational facilities closed until July, basically summer (fun) washed-off.
