Just got my SENTRI the other day.

The instructions clearly state to activate the card by logging into my account, and clicking an Activate Card button. But, there is NO such button.

Has anybody received a SENTRI card lately? Did you have to activate before use?

Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

What's the difference? Cost?

I feel the same as you when a girl doesn't return a text, in the US girls text like 100 times a day so it's weird when it is so different there. But like anywhere else there is always one girl who is a little different, just got to find her. Another thing I found odd, I didn't see any girls texting on their phones in any places I was at while they were working, but if there was a computer somebody was always on facebook. I sure wish facebook had better search options, it would be a great way to find girls in Tijuana that speak english. That girl I picked up at Adelitas only worked there for 2 months and before that she always dated a gringo, that's exactly what I'm looking for I just need to catch her before she starts selling herself, once you do that there's no turning back in my opinion.

I can't tell you how highly I unrecommend you do that. It would be worse than taking sand to the beach, it would be like taking mud to the beach. If by central america you are talking down to like Panama I suggest you find a girl who is not in Mexico or atleast not in a filthy city like Tijuana. Your appeal to the ladies will go up a ton more the further away from the US you get and Mexico has the most similar to US people in terms of obesity and lazyness. If you want find a hooker in Costa Rica or somewhere else, I still recommend a normal girl working in a store. I will tell you everytime I have been to Costa Rica I have never been turned down for a date with any girl I asked out working in a clothing store or hotel. You have to think of yourself as Justin Timberlake in these other countries, consider this the average Costa Rican makes around $5000 / year, when they did a survey the average Costa Rican thought the average American makes $500, 000 / year. If I made 500k a year even the girls in the US would be droppin their panties now consider yourself in a third world country. That is what I used to keep in the back of my mind when asking girls out there, because I just am not that aggressive in the US. Plus your Tijuana girl will probably want to be compensated, I look at it like why the hell would I pay someone to take a vacation? The girls in Tijuana don't look at it like that, I ran a weekend getaway trip by some of them, they seemed interested but I could still see the dollar signs rolling in their head. Keep us posted if you do that though I'd love to hear about it in detail.

I talked with some of the maids and they were very nice girls, one even dateable once her braces are off. I really would be surprised to ever find out about any theft at Ticuan. I have 3 things that went wrong at Ticuan, and trust me that's a low count because I'm pretty picky about hotels. 1. Fridays and Saturday I always seem to be next to the drunk get in at 3AM crowd 2. One time I got roomservice and they forgot the lemonade (but an hour later they brought it without me even saying anything which was kind of funny) 3. My last stay they forgot my 2AM wakeup call, I always back it up though on my phone and I've had many hotels in the US do the same thing. Other than that I've got about 20 nights in there and no problems I would trust the front desk girls with a couple thousand cash in a pinch, they're really a great bunch of employees I always tip housekeeping and I bring treats for the front desk girls and I never do that in the US. Ticuan is still number 1 hotel for me in the world, it felt like home to me. Unfortunately unlike the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons I don't catch many celebrities in Ticuan but I can't have everything.

I think your ATF may be experiencing the same problem. The online translators are really only good for small items, or getting the overall gist of something.

Go find a local Spanish 101 class. All you need is some vocabulary and the ability to string together a basic sentence. The rest you'll pick up from practice.

I just don't have time from my regular day to take a class (no, seriously) and I really only use this opportunity to spit out any espanol shamelessly and make her laugh.

For this ATF, actually while I was hanging out with her last week, she seemed to get most of the stuff I type on the fly into the translator, but yeah maybe some of my longer sentences got translated into eel-filled hovercrafts.

Even the shorter msgs she doesn't reply though, fucking bummer, maybe its just her latina nature.
