German FKK Clubs - Lounge and chat area

Wow, that's crazy, carrying nearly 10 grand in cash. I am sure I am missing something, but somehow it does not connect. Are Japanese tourists all working on a cash basis when abroad? Does not make sense. I mean, 10 grand is a lot for sure, but there must be rich Japansese who spend much much more. What if a rich Japanese travels with a family, plans to do a lot of expensive shopping? Are they carrying $50 grand, or even $100 grand? Never heard of such a thing (obviously they can carry traveler checks) especially in this age and day, where in the US people are moving to mostly mobile and online, cashless society.

Personally, I don't feel comfortable carrying more than a thousand on me, but that's just me. Thankfully, there are ATMs everywhere.

I guess you should not invite a working girl to your room for the night, LOL. If what McA says is true, and there is something about gypsy / typical WG background, such an amount would tempt them to somehow steal and runaway for a few weeks, LOL.

In Europe the tax authorities most profound wish is that they could forbid the use of cash money as that is the best way for tax evasion. If the money never enters your bank account, it is actually "invisible" to them. So all transactions through your ATM are more or less an open book for the tax-men. It makes them very happy.

Traveller checks are now mostly a thing of the past in Europe. They are a huge hassle to buy them and I cannot think of any commerce that will accept them. You will have to go to a bank to exchange them and even then I'm not sure all banks will be happy to do so.

But the issue is not one of non acceptance in EU, it is one of reluctance on the part of Japanese travelers to use cards abroad.

Seems cultural, perhaps driven by some weird tax and regulatory issues I am not aware of. Why the Japanese government has any policy and tax regulation that would eventually result in their citizens carrying huge amounts of cash when traveling abroad is beyond me.

He says Japanese ATMs do not even work abroad. Is that accurate? Can Japanese citizens open accounts in foreign banks and move cash? For example, if there is a Stan Chart or Deutsche or JP Morgan bank operating in Japan, can they open an account there, and access the funds abroad?

I do not have choice as ATM card is not option for me. Citi bank Japan used to issue international ATM, but they stopped it, so.

Well. I do not think I spend a lot in FKK as my budget is about 500 euro per day excluding entry fee. Though if I find girl I really want, I am willing to spend more, but I never pay more than house rules. The thing is I go consecutive 10 days or little more sometimes, so it end up minimum 7000 euro per trip.

However, beginning from last November, I began doing 5 days trip and divide my 10 days trip in to 2 trips, so it give me more chance to look at LU at different time of year, so increase improbability of catching stunner.

FKK is not expansive and it only get expensive if one goes every day consecutively, I do so as I am fly in punter.

Though, if I live in Germany, I will goto FKK every 3 days for sure LOL It will be my motivation for me to work hard, so I can go there LOL.

In comparison to Europe, in USA, electronic payment is pretty much the norm (Advanced with so many different types of payment methods are being created and utilized), and less so in certain areas no matter the how minor the value of the item purchased. Pretty much do no need cash at all, and expect to pay everything with a card anywhere I am(except probably some rural areas). Certain spots on the East coasts do have business that support only cash, but as a whole, electronic payment system is pretty much an option anywhere you go in the US.

You do notice the difference when you come to Europe when you are used to handling out your card every time for payment. US does seem to like to apply automation tech in areas to make things quicker. Henry Ford? Drive in Berger Joints? Businesses like to make things very efficient(reduce time & cost), and convenient for customers at the same time. Lots of chains, very capitalist. Lots of innovations going on of late, and at a rapid rate.

Electronic payments can be tracked, but not cash transactions.

[/QUOTE]If there is some way to cheat the tax authorities by taking a lot of cash out of ATMs, I'd like to understand this, since my country lets me take tons of cash out of ATMs. Purely educational interest of course. Since the cash I am taking out has already been taxed, I don't quite understand how someone cheats on their taxes by taking out huge amounts of cash from an ATM.

I do understand that taking out huge amounts of cash via an ATM makes the source of the cash difficult to track. Still, I can't really invest that money in a new country in a way that is not traceable to my home country given the current banking regulations and treaties. So again, I am at a loss how being able to withdraw large sums of money from the ATM helps someone become a tax cheat.

I know you are just breaking my balls here, but I'll offer my input anyway.

The FKK clubs make copies of the girls' passports, so a monger can report the theft to the club and / or police. So FKK girl wouldn't risk it unless it was a big score that she could retire on. I mean if Mr Ho left a six-digit-sum lying around, girl would take it, go back to her village and disappear without a trace.

But yes, I think what you say makes sense. I was thinking of, Who was it that said he lost a cognac bottle and something else, stolen by his night gal? But I guess that was not an FKK girl and not in Germany. Still, I remember reading here and there someone lost this or that; and several people have said they have taken girls for the nights and even longer weekends etc, I wonder if the girl running away with some goodies is very uncommon or not. But when it comes to ATM card that works abroad. We are like stone age LOL.

I think they do this on purpose to avoid tax evasions.
