Went barhopping on Wednesday night, hitting 8 to 10 bars, finishing at Elekta, then brought a couple girls back to my apartment, where we partied until 8, when we got a crazy idea to go to Santa Marta! She was just happy to get away from the place and we had a great night and a real girlfriend experience.
Next day the other Cali girl phoned up crying. After her first client she had discovered this was not the life for her. Ended up spending the day with both Cali girls; one wanting to stay and the other wanting to get the next plane back to Cali. Felt really sorry for the one who wants to leave and considering paying her flight back. She is obviously very different from the regular girls here. They are both coming around again tomorrow and hopefully we will finally make it to Playa Blanca.

La Vitrola will require reservations for sure unless you get there right when they open for dinner (7?) and really sweet talk the host to seat you early. Pesca is not as crowded but I would actually advise calling well in advance and asking them for a table that hangs out over the water. You will be set back 150, 000-250, 000 COP at either place, depending on how much you like to drink.

Sorry I got my prices mixed up in last report when I said $100 I meant 100 Mil peso. Anyway last night I was in the apartment and got 2 unexpected home deliveries. Question: I'll be in Cartagena for New Year's Eve, the basic room at the Hilton costs 360 USD in that period. I wouldn't go for a mid-level hotel, but I would choose an apartment if I get better value for money. In Kiev for instance you'd have to be an idiot to book a hotel, when you have luxury apartments in the center (jacuzzi included) at less than USD 100 per night (vs 300 USD for a nice hotel).
Can anyone tell me what the NICE apartments (I mean nicely decorated inside, internet, proper furniture) in the NICE areas cost (I mean either in the very center, or in the nightlife center)? And kindly pass me some links where I can check photos and book.
