He's better off in Botero Real by the church where they charge 8 k and the rooms are just as decent. As far as eye contact and 30 k that ain't going to happen, if he can't atleast speak enough Spanish to ask "cuanto cobras?" and "siempre pago 30 mil" they are likely going to start out around 40 k or 50 k and how the hell would he be able to counter offer without Spanish skills? In the past the Premier Plaza has been very strict about checking ID's, yet at other times not a word said, and it depends on whom is working the front desk.

They are licensed to rent rooms to foreigners for overnight stays, and will require you present your Passport to do so, but a copy of your Passport should work for short time use.

As far as the poster with no Spanish speaking skills, as stated by others on this board, the "rack rate" in Centro, the amount a local will be quoted, is 30 K for a rato.

Yesterday I went with a Colombian "candy girl" I met in Botero Park and was quoted 30 K, yet I was able to communicate with her, so was quoted the "rack rate", yet someone with no Spanish speaking skills will not be getting that.

In reality, the locals can literally walk up to any girl and it will cost 30 K plus the cost of the room.

Yet what happens a lot is that a local will ask how much, and then make a counteroffer like 25 K, or even less if the girl is a dog.

I've seen lots and lots of what I call failed negotiations in Centro, in fact I remember watching two guys within five minutes coming up to a pretty Vennie, and after about 30 seconds walking away. So it was either that she was asking for more than 30 K, or the guy made a low ball offer.

You mentioned the poster would be "unlucky " to pick a Vennie.

Let me expand on that, in my experience, the Vennies are much more adept at negotiating, and asking for more money than the Colombians, and I think this might be what you were getting at.

I know a lot of guys swear by the Vennies, yet I just can't relate to them like I can the Colombians.

I don't know what his pre-pandemic posts were like, that would help. I had visions of him being someone who pre-pandemic had access to loads of coitus which dried up when covid struck. Its hard to define him as someone who resorted to wanking off in front of his computer in his mother's basement. I think he wanted the real thing hence my belief his posts were real. I took a girl to Premier Plaza, but she said there was a better one so we went to the back of the church and was charge 16 K for a room that only gave us one towel for two. Next time, another girl took me to the same place and it was only 6 K. LOL.

I know that isn't your routing, yet he had to go thru Customs and Immigration which can always be a pain in the ass, especially if you have checked baggage as you will have to reclaim it and re-check it. As far as a COVID testing requirement to travel thru Mexico, you should check with the airline.

About seven years ago I flew thru Mexico City on Aeromexico and on the return flight from MDE thru Mexico City there was a major delay in Mexico City at Customs, I missed my connection, and the airline tried to charge me to take the next flight and it was a pain in the ass to not to be charged and I was given the run around and sent to several different lines to sort it out.

After that I will never fly thru Mexico to get to Colombia, never ever again. And I know it's a cheaper option flying from Tijuana versus say LAX, but not worth the aggravation of dealing with it.

My friend last week had no checked bags, a business class ticket, and still had weird questions asked of him and he had to explain that he was just connecting to another flight but was still issued a tourist card.

And then when trying to board, was still missing some stamp in his Passport to be able to board.

In a nutshell, it can be chaos flying thru Mexico City, and to be avoided as far as I'm concerned.

A couple of reasons for that: he burst on the scene without any history, then disappeared just as quickly. He also bragged about being young and having more money than he could spend. Very few wealthy people brag about their wealth.

Stayed at San Peter. Excellent location, just couple of minutes uber / taxi ride to new life and zandalay casas. $3 bucks one way LOL. No need to take train which otherwise is very convenient.

Centro is a bit of unnerving, over populated terribly busy place teeming with people going about their daily chores. Totally commercial. The girls in centro are low quality, quite a few of them. I saw only two that I would talk to but overall it is bound to be forgettable mechanical experience. New life and zanadalay were fantastic in the afternoon but a bit slow around 11 AM. Almost 20 girls each, 2 were yeah baby, 2-3 were quite good, rest I would pass. Fantastic rooms with showers and nice beds, very high quality. Extra 55 bucks got me BBBJ, DATY, and GFE. No hassles, no too many extras. I would completely avoid centro which is too busy, too low quality.

Facebook scene was a bit of bummer for me, I started very late. One needs to start at least 90 days in advance and must have at least 30 vetted contacts with rates and services clearly defined. I only had two, both were superb.

Parque Lleras was a bit of let down, its very small area and was not too busy on days I visited. May be 20-30 girls out of which 2/3 were ok by me. 200 K.

LOL.[/QUOTE]A lot of the Hotels pay kickbacks to the girls for bringing customers to their Hotels, and some Hotels charge the same amount for everyone, years ago at the Premier Plaza, some of the girls I would take there would get like 3,000 Pesos upon checking out. Kind of like a loyalty program for girls that bring lots of customers. But not all the girls I have taken there over the years got a kick back.

As far as the girls asking for more after the deed. Well I can't blame them for asking, yet it depends on how they asked, and how they performed.

I'm assuming the ones asking for more were first timers. It's always a crapshoot going with girls for the first time. Unfortunately at times you have to make things crystal clear before going upstairs which includes besides spelling out the services to be performed, the price, but also telling them that you always pay afterwards, and re-confirming the price.

And even after doing that, some will still ask for more, even though they have confirmed what the price was beforehand.

And I have been in the position of being asked for more than agreed to, and in some cases just give it to them if they did a really good job.

Yesterday I pulled a girl and she said 30 K. When we got to the room, and after we had showered and undressed, I informed her that I don't like to be rushed, and that if she does a good job I would giver her more money. And she did a good job, including giving me a BBBJ which was never discussed, and I paid her 40 K.

A lot of times I just like to see how things develop once in the room, without discussing anything beforehand with the girl.

This is something I have had very good luck with here in Colombia, but won't fly in a lot of other Countries.

The extra $ 2.50 USD was well worth it, and not something the locals would do, but has worked well for me as an approach with new girls.

A kind of win win situation in that the girl earns more than expected and you get good service!
