The report I have seen, and attached link below, says that visitor numbers were down 20% week on week from one year ago for first week of May.

I think as this year goes on, the amount of tourists enterint year over year starts to go down as we enter a global recession. Add in low season kicking in and the numbers this summer should be down in terms of tourists entering Thailand.
