.......Sosua is in ICU and needs help.
Jaded Guy you there this weekend pm me a report please.
LOL...........
Is this because we are now into the slow season or is Sosua just in need of help period?
I stopped in Sosua about two months ago just for a few hours. I had not been in Sosua in almost three years and boy did I see a difference. I stopped at the bar on the corner of Rosen to have a beer around 4 in the afternoon. That area was packed with mongers and putas. When I stopped going to Sosua the afternoons were usually really nice and quiet. Sosua looked like the Wild Wild West.
If someone is going to rep dom just to bang out as many chicas as they can in a day I would say Sosua is the place. Sosua has more putas per square centimeter than any other city in rep dom.
So Mr. Gogo were you annoyed, pleased, or still trying to figure out what operation Sosua needs?

But as a business man I look below the surface. New outdoor bar 'rumba"across from el flow had a nice crowd. Rumba(dominican owned), classicos, nice crowd(dominican owned). 4 roses empty(german owned), seacrets, slow(dominican owned), bar acroos from seacrets that burned down(european owned). I think foreign investors are having a rough time. But it could be the slow season.
The one exception is passions, Peter (german) is building a new wing with two stripper poles.
Also a guy at the hotel had a beautiful 18 yo girl shit on him. Poor guy was traumatized for two days. But he went to passions and pulled a nice honey to recover.
The next few months will tell alot about whats happening in Sosua.
Also a major celebrity was out and about but I can't put his name here. Pm if you want to know who it was.
As an avid motorcycle rider
I have seen groups of ten or more guys driving Harley Davidson motorcycles, on the weekends, on the highway east of Boca Chica. Seems like it would be fun to tour around with a group of motorcyclists.
On that same highway I have scene a group of about 20 people on racing bicycles, with some support type vehicles around them.
Anyway, I think the car is a part of your game and I cant fault anyone for that.
My wingman does a lot driving for his work here in the States. When he is on vacation in Rep Dom, he does not want to spend much time in a car. We don't travel much together anymore, because I like to hop around from place to place in Dom Rep.
Rumba(dominican owned), classicos, nice crowd(dominican owned).
I am not sure where you get your intel from, the owner of Rumba is an American from New Jersey, and Classicos/Merengue Bar is owned by an Italian.
Classicos/Merengue Bar is owned by an Italian.
I have not been in Sosua in a while. When I was in Sosua years ago, an Italian guy owned the Sosua Bay Hotel, the new casino, After One disco and Classicos. Sometimes he would be at Classicos at night. He was not very friendly with me, when I stopped to chat with him one night at classicos. I knew a chica who used to work for him and she said he was nice. One of his brothers was a much friendlier guy.

I second that, the owner of classicos/Merengue is also the owner of the Sosua Bay hotel and the Victorian House hotel.
I am not sure where you get your intel from, the owner of Rumba is an American from New Jersey, and Classicos/Merengue Bar is owned by an Italian.
There was a meeting in Puerto plata a couple years ago between politicians and sosua business owners. The Italian classicos owner was very vocal and upset, but the politicians didnt care. The meeting was about one club being alowed to stay open later than others I thought the Italian guy sold to the El flow group.I stand corrected thanks.
I've only watched rumba from El flow.Well designed, plasma tv,over 100 Dominican dudes well dressed, three waitresses. NO puntas it seemed like a high class Dominican networking group no foreigners .And its American owned WoW. What a bold buisiness plan.To set up right across from El flow and cater to dominican dudes.

Sosua
I am going to be in Sosua in 5 days and with some of the reports here pessimism abounds. As for the slow season, I can't beleive it. I have been there at this time of year every year for the last few years and it has never been slow.
I am more aware of potential violence, but I hope most of it is paranoia. I haven't heard anything happening to regular gringo hobbiests, but I realize you have to treat the locals with respect and occasionally take of of some of the street people. I almost had an incident of a group mugging, which was my fault, last time I was there 6 months ago. They were only after money but I hope I don't hear of anything more than that.
As for the lack of quanity of the girls at the NG, I know it can get slow there, but I have had no problems with that too. Plus during the day there are always girls walking by and looking in.
I guess I am asking is there any positive news.

Mr Gogo,
You betcha;) I'm actually packing tonight. I'll be on ground Saturday by 2:10 pm Will be returning the 16th. My buddy from NY will be going down as well.
I haven't been down in May for awhile, so it will be intersting to see how it looks compared to other times of the year.
We'll keep Herman in business, and visit with Peter alot as well I'm sure.
I'll pm you and post something up as well for everyone once I get a feel for things.
Looks like the exchange rate is decent enough this trip...
As I finally have time to reflect on my recent trip last weekend, I can't help but wonder about all the contiuous negative vibes coming out of Sosua.
I always try to keep my karma on a positive keel. Here are the negatives:
1)Lous Saturday night, liquor, boxing, bravado. Neither drunk guy wanted to back down.
2)Saw this Dominican street hustler that I don't deal with other than to say hello. He walks by and says I don't watch out for him. Just laughed and walked away.
3)seacrets had more people playing pool(3) than people at the bar. Girls were standing behinds empty bars in trances. No smiles.
4)4roses bar was emty everyday.
5)Herman of siempre sol said he had two people in two days.
6)Newgarden had the same four girls by the pool everyday.
Sosua is in ICU and needs help.

There are better places to keep in business on the beach IMHO, Herman is a major chismoso and makes it his business to know everyone else's business and share it with the wrong people. Good for one beer max and move on. Try Black Box for real hospitality or Ari's Chringuito #67. Don't forget Big D's ribs on the beach.
Have a safe trip!

Babe ruth
what happened with this guy?
i had nine guys pm me asking for this story, one guy even said "its supposed to be good luck when that happens"lmao.
sabor(isg)kutha(isg)me, and a newbie(****) were sitting at the corner bar next to el flow. the newbie was a little nervous and overwelmed by sosua. kutha calls this beautiful 18 yo old girl over for this guy(newbie).
the newbie spoke no spanish and said nothing to the girl for ten minutes. i'm staring at this girl admiring her beauty. the waiter comes over and asks to see her cedula before bringing her a cervesa. the newbie is not interested, but sabor starts giving him a pep talk. sabor starts with the, take one for the team speech. then he says our fore fathers had to make saccrifices for this country. kutha is also applying pressure from the side saying"you have to do this". i'm feeling sorry for the guy as he accepts.
they leave holding hands. we head to latinos to hunt.
the next morning i see sabor and kutha and they give me an"you not going to believe this"look. the guys said the girl and him were naked with her on top. the guy said he looked down and three babe ruth bars were rolling around. he asked the girl what happened and she said they were his. the maids were called and the guy had to take some clothes to the laundry. very embarrasing sceen.
i know it doesn't sound logical. was the guy eating pussy and ass? was the guy just to excited?
anyway two days later the guy goes to passion and gets takeout with this fine ass girl. he said it was the best sex he ever had.
The newbie was a little nervous and overwelmed by sosua.
I would hate to see this guy in Rio or Thailand. He would probably lose consciousness.
The guy said he looked down and three babe ruth bars were rolling around. He asked the girl what happened and she said they were his.)
Surely you heard this story from the girl and not the guy as you have written. If I was him I would have gone to my grave with that one.
I know it doesn't sound logical. Was the guy eating pussy and ass? Was the guy just to excited?
It seems like the girl would be the one to have the nervous issues after an episode like that. He would have definitely earned a new nickname had he been with my crew.
