Visited KL a Saturday early in January.

Stayed in Federal hotel. Nice hotel with a very good location on Jalan Bintang (Bukit Bintang is the name of the district, and offer a lot of restaurants, shopping malls, massage shops etc)

The Spa located in the ground floor of the hotel offers massage by "old and not beautiful" ladies, according to the informant in the spa lobby. If you want bathing or something like that, you have to ask for that, and will then be able to choose a young and beautiful girl for a cost of app 250 RM. Open to 5 am. I did not try, but walked to Beach Club. This place is not on the same Jalan Bintang. You have to walk north along the Jalan Ismail for app 10 minutes to find Beach Club. Walking north (under the monorail towards the towers) you will find it on your right hand just by the traffic lights.

When I came there at 9 pm, it was not crowdie, but still a lot of people. Mix 50/50 males / females. While sipping my beer (RM 24) a friendly Cambodian started a conversation in good English. 25 years old, coming to KL for 30 days on tourist visa to finance her studies.

I think it's untrue. There is residual smell after period but not fishy. As a whole I would stay away from the fishy ones - it can sometimes be indicative of STDs (not always); in addition, it's unpleasant and quite off-putting.

There is a bus that services the terminal and they use an authorised vehicle only shortcut! You can catch the bus at KLIA Bus terminal on the ground floor out of the main terminal, best to ask and quite near the KLIA Express train terminal and at the left exit of LCCT Arrival hall, again ask for directions if your not sure!
