Same factors apply as anywhere else though Thai girls are much easier to charm than in most of the world. If you can speak at least basic Thai, most of the race concerns go away. And if you are relatively young (under 40), it is very possible to hook-up. You just need to make an effort. Girls here are like most Asian girls, shy. Speaking Thai breaks the ice quite well. Just turn up the charm a bit and you will at least have some success. Though don't expect to hook-up with 90% of the girls you talk to, it's more like 10% here for hot girls whereas in the west it might be 1%. Still 10 x better is much improved odds.

There used to be such a service from a place called Devil's den it was quite famous but it closed down during Covid. No-one has re-opened such a service I guess because of cost and probably lack of popularity. Also the authorities / airport may not have liked it?

Its not that far from the airport to BKK, especially late night.

I am asking for a friend in Philippines who has a friend with major GI issues the past 5 years. She has been to many PH doctors and hospitals and have many diagnoses and still sick. He is wondering if doctors or a medical clinic or hospital in Bangkok would be much better? And if so, which ones? Also I heard BKK medical costs are cheaper than western countries but how much cheaper?

Mostly out of Pattaya not Bangkok though. That forum may have more info. From a practical standpoint, BKK airport is fairly close to the city, like 30-40 ish minutes, while Pattaya is more like 1. 5 hours, and more geared toward that activity.

Thank you all for your input.[/QUOTE]I had a heart attack and a stent, the work was done by BNH Cardio Dept, two ambulances, stent, 5 Docs, 3 days private room, meals, tight white unforms concealing fabulous asses etc, plus followup came to about $14 K. Insurance paid me back. It would have been about $45 K here in the Land of the Free. They did a great job.

The two major expat hospitals are Bummygrad in Suk area and BNH in Silom.
