The Fortune Restaurant opposite the casino, have some very good chinese food, especially the chicken feet, yangchow fried rice. Remember to try the ginger sauce and chili sauce with your chicken.
You also can have some cheap food in Chow King, only 50p-100p, but a little small for a white guy. They just open a new branch near the McDonald. I don't have to walk to Margarita branch anymore.
Plenty of tasty food here, but it is expensive compare to other place.

AC girls have better attitude and if you're looking for gfe, AC is the place. Pattaya wins, however, on wham bam thank you mam with no girls texting you like mad. I prefer this sometimes also.
I'd like to add that IMO pattaya, overall, has more bang for buck. And lets not forget the negotiation factor. Pussy can be negotiated in Pattaya at all venues, unlike AC (fixed barfine). In low season it's not uncommon for gogo girls to go below the 1500 baht ST fee in Pat.

Went to several bars on Friday night.
Forbidden City: Grand opening was Friday. Went in around 9; couldn't find a good seat. Came back around 12; half the girls were gone. Layout is similar to Atlantis, but a little smaller. But I like the decor. My favorite bar in Angeles in terms of layout. 3 levels of bar fines; 1500, 2000 and 2500. The waitresses are 2000. It seems they allow photo/video of the dance stage.
Asia Club: Liked it. Girls were decent. Friday was body painting photo night. They got rid of the speakers on the outside which blasted until 4 AM. Now I will be able to stay at the Walk About Hotel next door.
Dirty Duck: It was dead the last couple of years. Last night it was packed with more girls than before. But I thought the girls were marginal.
Typhoon: There were a few cute waitresses. They were cuter than the dancers.
Blue Nile: What happened. There still were a lot of girls, but previously, there were tons of girls inside. Seems a lot of girls left, or did a busload of Asians come by and take them all away.

Lewis Grand 25-30min walking distance to center
Nearby ABC got a new bar "Ponytail" is quite good and big too.

this will happen in ph, but i can't imagine it will work in thailand. the pinoy always looking for a foreigner bf, even the sales girl in sm mall. a 20 yrs old girl will treat you like a 20 yrs younger version of you. i can't find this feeling in thailand, and that's why i keep coming back every year. they didn't give me "i'm king of the world" feeling, but make me feel stronger, younger and charming like a celebrity suddenly.
There is many good food here, like the C' Italian and the Zappata, the mexican food. Filipino food is good here in angeles, such as kare kare, crispy pata, lechon kawali, sisik, buko, tinolang manok, mango shake. The Max's Restaurant in SM Mall Ground Floor is my favorite place.
Seems like my post got its share of controversy! No doubt that's I'll be fat & bald, actually I'm almost there, gained weight and constantly loosing hair despite using propecia. Maybe what scared me is almost seeing a reflexion of myself! I'll be there in 15 years when I'll turn 50:)
About the food, NO see Italian, is NOT a good Italian restaurant it's hardly even descent, and I do spend most of my time in Geneva, Rome & Paris! And I've tried most of the restaurants in AC and they just all suck Unlike Manila where you can have elite buffet at Hyatt & Shangri La Makati, and excellent meals at the Grill (hyatt) but also Sofitel, and many 5 stars hotels.
But I can admit that Americans and Europeans have very different taste and expectations when it comes to restaurants and probably AC is more orientated towards dominating US clientele.
About the smell, I find AC the worst smell of the Phils Actually Malate smells too, but Makati almost doesn't. Davao has a light smell too, but it's bearable!
But I'd be curious to read the feedback for some AC virgins who arrive there, and find the smelly favella:) it must be quite a shock!

In agreement with a lot of your thoughts. I too, don't care to do AC. If I go, 2 nights is enough for me. I get bored there and I don't like the layout or area. For most here though, I don't think Manila or Makati will work for them. I don't think I agree that the hotels are better elsewhere in PI. I definitely think the value is better in AC for hotels.
Curious what your thoughts of on Cottage Kitchen? That is one place I don't miss when I go back there which is not very often, but to me that food is worth it over there. Maybe it's not to your kind of taste though.

I would agree with you in most instances, but for those who do want to give something back, rather than give it to the street beggar thieves. ABC's charity events do go to charity, but of course there is a self interest in advertising and goodwill when any big company gives to a charity. The ABC pool party this past Friday was fantastic by the way.
The RSL (Returned Servicemen's League) has the Children's Mission programs where they do medical missions in PH for various children diseases. Its all volunteer administration so literally every dollar you give goes to the kids. They are non-political and very well respected and honest. Highly recommend them if you are in a charitable mood, just designate your donation to the Children's missions.
