Last time I was in Sosua on December 20, 2009. I was told by others that the quality and quantity of chicas at that period was not good. How is the quality now a days? I'm planning a trip for next week.

I talked to at the time of the accident (Budget liability insurance) said it was best to pay the clinic and bike repairs as long as they are reasonable just to make the problem go away. They intend to reimburse the money I paid for the bike and etc. If the amount was beyond what I could pay or was out of line I was to call them back and the would deal with the police. Budget is going through the CC insurance since Expedia will send me the cash for the collision part.
Again I must say Budget (POP) has so far has gone far beyond what I expected. The cute chica at the desk has sent me an email thanking me for using their service and is keeping me in the loop as far as the insurance is concerned.
If something out of the ordinary happens as far as deductibles I will let you know.
Does anyone know what happened with that guy who got shot in front of Classicos? I was on my way out after 2, when I saw people running back up the stairs toward me. I knew to take my ass back inside to party a little longer. I was told he was Dominican.

I know some office chicas who complain all the time about there boss' advances. Some give in ; ). Won't be far fetched to think about how the deposit is not required for a beautiful chica willing to put out. I am sure the public over reacts when there is an accident involving a gringo because they know it's clearly money in the bag and we want to exit as soon as possible. I want to hear from some of you experts and expats about the rental situation and insurance in DR.

herman has done this to me more than once , also i have been on the wrong end of his gossip several times. if it was not for his main camarara, carolina, he would have been closed years ago.
his beer is warm, his water tastes like it was bottled right out of the sewer. if you feel like eating there, take a quick peek in his kitchen fitst, your appetite should go away.

Thanks a lot man. I too use the credit card insurance for CDW and it is my understanding you either pay or they charge your credit card for expenses and the CC insurance will reimburse you.
I was a little confused as to why you had to pay medical and moto damage but the way you explained it makes sense to me.
Your experience is a lot different than a current event posted and I have always felt a lot has to do with who you rent from. I stick with the big boys. Alamo/National, Budget, and even Thrifty. Why Thrifty? American Express CC gives a discount and if AE is affiliated with Thrifty they must be reputable.
Good to read you didn't spend any time in the slammer. I think that is probably everone's biggest fear.

I don't understand this post. If you were in Sosúa yourself at the time why couldn't you make your own mind up as to the quality and quantity?

The reason I asked the question was that I have no other experiences in Sosua to compare it with. I guess all I want to know is how is the quality of chicas now a days compared to last December.

I am considering to to rent Villa California in Sousa this summer from 5-19 july.
As there are 3 bedrooms I would be more than willing to share the place with 2 others.
I was offered a price for the period that equals to 59$ per night for each person.
People who can stay the entire period will be preferred but I can accept shorter visits as well, depending on the interest here.

Hey... did you guys see this posted today in the POP threads? Either the guy who posted is not a native english speaker/writer or, is lacking in writing skills, or... was really over-jacked up with her wrote this. You will get the gist of it in any case. I can only track about 50% of the writing.
It does not bode well for renting a car in the DR.
