I don't get the attitude you say from Western girls. I did approach a beautiful western woman (again, about 20 years younger than me) sitting outside a massage "spa" next to the gym I was about to enter a few days ago. She was indeed completely disinterested, but that was all there was to it.

I attribute much of the warmer welcome to the added one or two points I think us white folks get here (excluding the smelly drunks in the wife-beaters). I have no doubt that if you look like Henry Cavill, the girl you mentioning turning her head away would be all smiles and giggly from the point you said "Hello". Adding a point or two does not make me Henry Cavill, but I guess it raises me slightly above Gollum.

Hopefully the world will be my oyster! However, how much USD would you expect to spend for 7 nights of fun in the city? Looking at some of the reports, seems like a two to three hundred per night is not out of the ordinary. Is that accurate? We are staying near Thermae, and will plan on doing most of the shopping in that area. On an earlier query, it was suggested about 1500 for 20 days, but after seeing bar fines, prices and an a possible trip to Maria, seems like that is a bit on the light side. Thanks for the advice!

Haven. It was early but 4's and 5's. Pool table dark and toddler running around. Yikes. Left in a hurry. Avoid.

7-Heaven. BJ bar w tablet pictures. Nice attentive girls. Moderately pretty. Great service. 1300 Baht. Recommend.

Billboard and Butterflies. Wow. Some posters had said these are OK. I think they are fucking great. Clearly same owner and format. 30-40 girls in Billboard. I'm not Caucasian but that's my opinion based on observations. It's simple, Asian girls love Caucasian dudes.

As far as your Cavill comment, yes, if a girl finds you attractive she'll see you as being confident for approaching her. If she finds she unattractive she'll see you as being a creep.

The above are simple realities of dating and game. But I think most guys are in denial.

Are you going to get conned into buying lady drinks at gogos? Are you trying to BF high end girls or low. Are you going to stay at a high end hotel?

You can go to an MP and pay 2000-2500 baht for 2 hours of time. You can get a streetwalker for ST or LT for a variety of prices. You can go to high end clubs or escorts and pay much much more.

Got a few questions. I've skimmed the last 5 pages and have been keeping up for a bit longer, but I have a few questions that I haven't been able to find an answer for.

Planning a second trip to Pattaya this winter and I want to spend a few days in BKK. I want to go to the massage shops that offer nuru (soapies in Pattaya are meh).

I don't want to spend my whole time in BKK, just a few days, either at the beginning or end of my trip (just depends on when my inbound and outbound flights are tbh).

Here are a couple of places I've bookmarked. Not much, and honestly not entirely sure if I want to go if it means I need to entirely re-learn the lay of the land.

What's the best way to travel around? 3 KM is a bit far to walk. Are there baht buses or the equivalent here? Is Bangkok as walkable as Central Pattaya? What's there to know about visiting and getting around Bangkok specifically that isn't also applicable to Pattaya?

BTS is easier for beginners becaue you can see it from a distance and it takes you to all the lower sukhumvit sights (e.g., Nana, Cowboy, Soi 24, etc.).

Taxi is cheaper than in western country.

Tuktuk is usually less expensive than taxi and they zig-zag through traffic for a faster journey.
