NEW YORK (AFP) - Match.com, one of the top Internet dating websites, has been accused of hiring people as "date bait" to date some of their one million customers to encourage them to keep paying for the service.

A Los Angeles racketeering lawsuit said the lonely hearts website secretly recruited people to send enticing emails to its customers and to go out on dates with them as a way of getting them to keep up their 30 dollars monthly subscription.

The company's ringers, branded "date bait", went on as many as 100 dates a month -- three per day -- with Match.com customers, who use the site to search for boyfriends, girlfriends, and possible husbands and wives.

I only copied and pasted it off the Yahoo news this morning as I felt many of my fellow members on here might have previously used the site, are using it, or were thiinking of using it, and I hate to see someone throw there hard earned money away on false hopes or dreams.

Those damn dating sites are such a scam! I had some Russian girl contact me thru a Yahoo personal. We emailed each other for about a week and I got a strange feeling about her. She never seemed to answer my questions. I decided to search the internet under "russian women scam men" and low and behold who's pic do you think I found? Yep, she had about 4 or 5 aliases and they showed a sample letter that these women would send out after emailing you a few times. The next day I received an email from her that was almost word for word the same as the "sample". I sent her a reply saying "Fuck off" and never heard from her again.

I've also noticed the same exact pic of a girl, with 3 different names and locations, several times on those sites.

I think it's better to just chat on Yahoo or whatever and then just go there (Phils).

40,000 pesos is for the girl for her virginity. It seems all of 40,000 belongs to her and none of it goes to the bar.
The deal is like this. I pay 40,000 pesos and 1200 pesos to the bar per day. The bar will hold the money for the girl. After we come back I have to to the bar and inform them of my satisfaction with the girl. And then only they will release the money to the girl. It sounds like a good deal. Doctors do certify whether a dancer is a virgin or not. The money back guarantee you have been quoted is fabulous. You will not get that everywhere. I don't see it that way at all. Some guys have never had that experience and being a womans first is kind of special. Like you've been "where no man has gone before" It's a nice feeling I guess. I think banning someone for that is a little extreme. He never said anything about relishing her fear, pain, and tears. She is a bargirl, so is selling her virginity to him.
