I am planning a short trip to Legaspi- if anyone recently visited the place please advise regarding hotels, and the "places" to visit.

Eddie thanks for responding and the information. With regard to RTFF, it could be I'm incompetent but the only "recent" information I could find was written by a guy called Snow Koala in Jan 07, however, his report related to a trip in May 2006 - which is a little stale. As I want to relax and dive but also have some fun with the Ladies ,my dilemma is; do I need to take p4p with me from Manila.

I will spend another time in san fernando La union again, cause of my gf. I been there before, stayed at coconutgrove hotel, place was ok, lausy food, noisy aircon. but I guess places are run down all over-

I saw that bluenile bought southern palms (been in there bar before, 3 fat ugly gurls dancing)Any news on that??

May want to stay at the City State Hotel in Ermita. They have a 7am bus that takes you to Batanges where you catch the ferry.

Bars, essentially four go-go bars that are ok if you go eary, the pickings in those bars after midnight are very slim.

Check out Villa Estrella in Bauang(just south of downtown SF)it has great food in the restaurant that is on the beach and more importantly a great line up of beautiful women upstairs in the bar. Bar opens at 6pm and runs until 2am with floor shows every 1/2 hour starting at 8 or 9pm. Have fun...

my gf is from Bauang, but she have to go sleep early..hehhe...hope trike drivrs know the place...sounds like fun..guess its for the locals?? Any expats/foreigners there also?? Prices?? So if IM interested just want to know what to pay I dont liked to get ripped off that much...

The feedback I've read from another forum is that there are four or five "discos" on Sabang Beach, which is the place where the action is in the Puerto Galera area. I think one is called Broadway and another is called Village. There are hundreds of girls who work at these "discos" but they are really girlie bars more or less. Supposedly a lot of the girls are really good looking.

Does anyone have any idea about where this place/island is?

I cant find it in any travel guide or map and it supposed to be in the Philipines northern area somewhere.

If you mean "Laoag", it is the capital city of Ilocos Norte on the main island of Luzon.

Good you mentioned Sabang Beach. If you are going for the mongering this is the place to stay. I remember the Apple, Braodway, and Sunset Disco. No freelances when I was there. Typical barfine setup.

Anyone there now or ever been to Laoag", it is the capital city of Ilocos Norte on the main island of Luzon.
If so what going on there?

I had some confusion with Liloan -- there are two places on Cebu Island with the same name. If you take a boat from Dumaguete, Negros across the Tanon strait, you will land near the town of Liloan (Li-loan). Then if you go about 120 kilometers to the NNE, you will pass Cebu city and find a place called...Liloan.

The beaches around the Tanon Strait are very nice.

Duvall " I love the smell of Naplam in the morning" This was the main beach at Baler in 1976 when the film was shot.

I have never been but you can find chicks everywhere in PI.

dont go to la union, its booooooooooooring here......gud thing Im an alcoholic so its ok, hehehehe.....

Went to southern palms bar, stiletoss, compared to my last time more gurls there. Saw one nice gurls in clothes dancing, ask the mama san and she say she was steady barfine. her boyfren, some drunk dude livin here, didnt wana talk to me, actually tht was my first ass..le expat encounter in the PI.
steady barfine means here, u pay 25k to the bar and the gurl can go with you as long as you like her ...hahahahaha.....what a BS....he pay 25k to the bar and support the gurl and the gurl sometimes go there to dance, so boring hahaha..
Then I went to a massage, it says Marites Massage 24 hours open. I ask for the gurls, tomboy refused to show, just ask me what I like and of course she has that gurl which fit to my prescription....another BS...never encounter this in a MP, they show you at least some gurls....

I guess I will sleep now, if I wouldnt have a gf I wouldnt go here.
So dont go here, nothing to see and nothing to do. iM back in ac on sat for a blast, still have 2 weeks for party in ac, and thats gona be enough for f..kin
