Margarita Station still open 24 hours.
Both Margarita Station and Kokomos are no longer 24X7. .
Margarita Station is still open 24 hours. They close in the wee hours of the morning once of month for a heavy dose of insect spraying.
Based on past experience, Kokomos will probably revert back to a 24 hour operation once the "slow season" is over. Sorry, I'm not privy to the plans. September is my guess.
Central Park Hotel - A great place to stay
I just checked out this morning, after a 9 day stay here. I can't remember the last time that I stayed in such a nice place, with great service under $100 a night.
Some of the things that just annoy me so much aren't an issue here. No housekeeping knocking on your door at 10am, when you went to bed at 6am. No padding the bill with mini-bar charges for stuff you never drank. No rude desk personnel when you bring chicas back to your room.
By the second day, all the desk people knew my name. I had booked via email about 2-3 weeks before I came. They didn't have the standard $29 room for the first 4 nights. When the room did become available, the room they showed me really smelled of smoke. They found me another one without any problem, and then 3 of the housekeeping staff moved all my stuff!
The wired internet was a bit hit or miss, I'd say it was up about 75% of the time, and a few of the bath towels were in need of replacement. At least they were of decent quality, and not the paper thin kinds you get in a lot of Asia.
I only ate in the restaurant the last night, and found the pricing to be fair, just a bit over Mo's prices, and the waitresses are *hot*.
I rarely post such glowing reviews of a place, but I was quite impressed with Central Park.
