The guy at the Atlantic Hotel offered me to rent the "same room as the German guy that stayed for one month and was always wearing a jacket" for 700,000 g/month (roughly 100 Euros). Centrally located (two blocks from the central park", wifi, own bathroom, but curtains are a bit too thin to hide efficiently the sun.

I read good comments on PALMAS DEL SOL hotel and decided to stay there.

Near the center (Plaza Uruguaya at 5 mn) very nice gardens and terraces inside the hotel; little swimming pool and excellent breakfast with 4 kind of fresh fruit juices; corn flakes; pastries, cheese, ham; omelette with bacon etc.

Perfect room with safe.

Official rate is 154 KG but I negociated without any difficulty when I arrived, for a minimim of 3 nights 137 KG breakfast and taxes included and clearly specified, no supplement to bring girls (they said OK. Of course except if the girl was really staying there. Meaning eating breakfast. Quite normal). The reception speaks a little english and german. Asuncion is a quirky and bizarre place and well worth a visit. A great mongering destination when comparing price with quality but nowhere near as good as Medellin in Columbia for overall looks and value.

Would be great if someone might one day compile a list of the really top end places in Asuncion. Would love to see what they are like after having previewed the girls at Azara 1565.

In my memo dated 21-11-10 I told the good time I had in AVDA RODRIGUES DE LA FRANCIA 226 with Yegros (Harem accompaniantes) where I went three times.
