I'm going to Tallinn in a few weeks (inside a long working trip over Europe). So, I'd like to have some updated information regarding this city. After having RTFF, I still would like to know:

1) Can you suggest some nice hotels in the old town/city center escort friendly? I wouldn't like to register the girl at the reception.

2) My aim is to go the first have a meeting in my hotel the first night, and then to look for an incall girl the second night. Thanks for the very useful information shared here by all of you. Let's see.... where to start? Well, at my boss' request, I recently made my first trip to Helsinki. Though I was only there a few days, I happened to meet up with a nice Finnish guy (let's call him Mikko) while standing in line for a nightclub named Kaarle XII. Although the conversation ranged from mobile phone technology (his specialty) to filtration methods for various distilled spirits (more along my lines :) ), we ended up discussing girls and where to find them. Apparently, aside from freebies you meet in the bars, Helsinki doesn't have much to offer in terms of p4p. Along those lines, he suggested I might be better off to try things in Tallinn. He'd been as a university student, but not since, and said that among Finns that Tallinn has a seedy reputation for cheap booze, cheap smokes and cheap women. Needless to say, I thought that myth needed some busting (or verifying!) and once my business meetings concluded the following afternoon, Mikko and I jumped the Linda Line hydrofoil and arrived in Tallinn a little over an hour later.

First off, I was struck by what a charming old town Tallinn is. Secondly, I was surprised by how many Russians are there! Apparently, over 30% of the population is ethnically Russian. So, whenever I met someone who didn't speak English fluently, I could almost always flip into Russian and carry on a conversation (this was particularly true of the older population).

Now, before I run out of steam, let me detail our p4p experiences. Our first trip was to Venus Club, which Mikko's contacts had assured us was sort of a hooker bar. As I recall, we each paid around 100 EEK (I love that currency name, BTW!) to get in. Though it's only around 10 bucks, it still struck me as being expensive for as little a town as Tallinn is. Despite the reputation for having WGs, we mostly only encountered uninterested and/or uninteresting regular girls.

So, we were off for more of a "sure thing". There are apparently 4 strip bars in town, where the girls will ask for 100 EEK (minimum) per dance. Sounded reasonable, so we hit a place called Gentleman's Club (inventive, huh?). Though it had an attractive-enough interior, the drinks were simply ridiculous ($25 per drink [b]and up[/b]), and the girls were nothing to write home about either. As such, we promptly made a beeline for the exit.

After two bad starts, Mikko started making some calls and suggested we try a brothel called Club 8. The decor is bizarre to say the least - think Victorian bordello meets Crazy Horse Too - complete with a strip pole in the middle (and no, I ain't kiddin' like Jason). Everything else - the girls, drinks and so on - is "on the level" as we'd say in Russian. Should you wish to bang them there in the club, they have rooms you can rent for 25 euros. And since the girl will give you a 50 euro discount, it's actually cheaper than taking them back to your hotel room. I chatted with a few girls, but none really caught my eye enough to pay 200 euros (not to mention the 300 some were asking). They all appear to be freelancers, for what it's worth, so I suspect that they pay some (substantial) cover charge to enter and pass that along to their clients.

Having struck out three times, we returned to our hotel. By myself, but more adamant than ever to "get my groove on", I resorted to the internet and started combing the out-call sites. Since I'm fluent in Russian, I thought it'd be best for me to get a Russian girl (and, IMHO, they're hawt). I found some cute blondinka, made the call and address in hand, grabbed a taxi. Once I arrived, I was happy to see the girl looked even better than her photos (which is most often NOT the case in Moscow, where I live). But as a major buzzkill, she cooly asked for money upfront. I hesitated and hinted she ply a little of her trade first... as a gesture of goodwill. She counter-offered that we have something to drink first to get us in the mood, and suggested that she could go nearby and buy us a bottle of vodka. "Great idea!" I said, handed her 300 EEK (around $30), plopped onto her couch and reached for the TV remote. After 30 minutes, I was starting to guess I'd been duped, and my suspicions were confirmed when the "owner" returned to "his" flat and "discovered" a total stranger there. I knew it was a scam, but decided I was best off cutting my losses and not risking an altercation with the local police force. Unsurprisingly, by the following week the girl's internet profile was deleted. Live and learn, I suppose.

So, in retrospect, maybe I would have been luckier had I stayed in Helsinki. Or maybe I just needed a better guide. In any case, Tallinn is a beautiful little city to which I'd be more than happy to visit again. I'll just have to bring my own Russian hottie with me next time!

I took the slow ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn several times many moons ago. Did the castle walk. Cheap food and booze - did not see any action. The swap meet action is fun.

Did not do the summer island hop in Helsinki. I did see great looking women in Latasuri by the water and the store Stockman. Not really a P4P situation.

Sure, sponsor girls don't, freebies don't, but in 10 years, you don't let business cause you buzzkill because every last agency girl of the 500 I've had, has REQUIRED money first. No pay, no play. Its not rocket science and its also basic agency company policy and Rule #1. There's no negotiating about sampling goods??? Any prostitute that sees a customer hesitate to pay, should immediately suspect that SHE is gonna get scammed. THAT'S WHY THEY ASK!!

Yes I know this girl was not an agency girl, but she was advertising on the net and I assume also had her price listed. Ok, so I'm not saying that we can't ASK to pay later, and generally if its a repeat girl that you've already had once, its actually a bit of an insult to me that they don't trust you enough, but you have to figure out that SOMEONE ELSE ripped her off this way, so she's not gonna risk getting scammed again, no matter WHO you are.

If you HAD paid her, are you completely convinced that she would have gone to the bathroom, and climbed out the window, that she was 100% a scam. What if you were a very big policeman or mafia hitman? You think she was fearless to the point that she would have asked them for money first, and then ran down the hallway and the stairs into the street with THEIR money? Or the flat owner, her "scam partner" would confront an armed assassin and risk getting murdered for $150 (was that her FS price?).

But that's not even my problem here.

First, why are you so lazy that you wouldn't go with her. More times than I can remember, girls want alcohol, so I go WITH her to get it. There was ONE TIME, but they were actually 2 freebies that came to my flat, drank what I had and wanted more, but I gave her ONLY $3 to buy cheapo beer and cigs, AND only let 1 girl go, the other stayed with me. Tallin is a gorgeous city, a beautiful old cobblestone city and if you are into blondes the most beautiful women in the world. It leaves Sweden for dead. It is cheap for the region and every weekend thousands of sex tourists from finland come across.
