I read this forum always this is the first time i write. All of the writers tell that in paris sex life isn't very good. I live in paris nearly 6 mounth and i also thougth that paris sucks in sex life.

Grands Boulevards are the tree-lined avenues between République and Opéra. In between, one of the "boulevards" crosses with rue Saint Denis, so that the area, esp from rue Saint-Denis to Richelieu-Drouot, is not without its opportunities. If you walk quietly, or if you sit in the terrace of a café, you may meet a few girls, who'll be semi-pros I guess, rather than thick-skinned pros (who limit themselves to rue Saint Denis itself). The advice here is to act quickly, even if you have to speak in English.

The same is more or less true for boulevard de la Madeleine, although in that area, unless very lucky, you may meet more elderly ladies than anything else.

Sorry, this it not completely true anymore, since law has changed with Sarkozy. According to law, the customer may also be finded. This doesn't happen quite often, but is possible. It happened in Bordeaux and in Paris, even with an important political leader. In fact this law is just used when police wants to crack down prostitution in a specific area or when they have no other law to use against somebody they want to arrest. The important political leader tried to intimidate the police, and had a bad behaviour, so they used this law against him to punish him (according to me).

For the average hobbyist, just keep a low profile, don't stop for a SW just in front of the police for example, and there will be no problem.

I had a few hours to kill in Paris last week. I was highly disappointed that I could not spend a couple of nights.

One warning about escorts in Paris, the Albanian mafia is highly involved in scams in the Paris sex trade. Many ads are often entrapments. You call a woman advertised in La Vie Parisienne, go to her apartment and get robbed. Thanks for the advice--- and the warning! The reason that I'd thought about using an internet escort is that I'd believed that it would be safer (maybe more expensive, but also more safe), and I didn't know about the risk involved from the Albanian criminals.

I had looked at one site, called le guide erotique, which lists many girls who are independents, and there are a lot of beautiful girls there, so I'm still tempted ( expensive, but I can afford an hour, so why not).

My French isn't fluent, but I can manage in hotels and restaurants pretty well, and French people reply to me only in French now--- but, when I must telephone, it's more difficult. If I telephone an escort, do I ask, "Je voudrais faire un rdv..."? And, since my hotel (an Ibis that has elevators that require a card), should I meet her in the lobby, or even at the metro stop which is 50m away?

Well, I've returned from Paris, and had no luck! Before departure, I'd seen le guide erotique, and chose one girl (Katja) who looked very good to me (but also very expensive). On her website, she has some nice photos, and a telephone number to call between, I think, 10h00 and 22h00.
