It is reasonable to think that FB traces and store this info. If you access from your smartphone, and disable Wi-Fi, then your communicated IP is the one dynamically assigned by your mobile provider, and it is different from the previous.

Every single time for a couple of years now. And only if you book from the US do you have 24 hour cancellation rights. Normally sites like [URL]onewayfly.com[/URL] are cheaper than say a bus ticket out of the country, and for sure from a place like MDE. So that's what I would do, about $20 US worth of insurance. You will (hopefully) have better things to do the morning after your arrival than remember to cancel an actual ticket within 24 hours.
