I like the way you put, "If you can't handle the rain". I may have undersold the rainy seasons in the past as not effecting what you can do here. After all, mongering is an indoor sport. I schedule my time here without regard to the rainy months. The temperature is so stable and for me that trumps any rain inconvenience. If you are counting on lots of outdoor tours and activities, like a real vacation and not just mongering, then the rain can definitely effect your plans.

Good point about the shoes. My fall back for those in Thailand which has a true rainy season, was wearing rubber flip-slops when wading half-way up your shins.

Besides people not moving away from the car entrance upon entering, the worst place to board is at the landing closet to the stairs. As an example, at the Poblado Station, and the other stations, but not San Antonio, everyone wants to board without having to walk a ways down the Platform, and hence it can be a nightmare getting into the first set of cars. During peak times I always walk a ways down the Platform and the cars will be less full, and fighting to get into the cars, and squeezed into a can, like a sardine, can be avoided. And of course during rush hours, you might have to wait ten minutes in line outside a station, just to get into the Station. And if you show up and don't have a pre loaded Civica card, another long wait in line.

If you are a guy looking to come to Colombia, have one girl at your disposal who is great looking and great in bed, that setup where you help a girl out and not have to be looking makes sense to me. I never demanded a woman like this be loyal and thought it was a waste of time. This type of situation is for a guy looking to have the best encounters but not having that much time when in Colombia. $500 or $1000 a month or whatever is equivalent to an hour or two with a decent looking woman in NYC, so it is not that much for a lot of guys. If the guys is smart, he has / had this woman as a hooker on retainer not a sugar baby.

Thing is everyone talking about the SB thing thinks that sugar babies are supposed to be loyal. There are three things wrong with having a girl like this is a sugar baby. One, she worked / lived in a bad neighborhood. That is out. Second she was a working girl, and that is an absolute no go for anyone. And finally, she is from Venezuela, and there is the cultural issue with long term there and a less than secure citizenship status. She is going to have to take a buck anywhere she can get it with that level of insecurity.

The guys who think that they are masters of the Colombia universe typically hang in places that are the American equivalent of Watts, South Chicago, and Harlem. You can get Colombian women in the American equivalence of Beverly Hills, Lincoln Park, and Manhattan. Those are the places where the women get long term. So if you are looking for a sugar baby, one of the first questions you should ask is which neighborhood she lives in and to know the nicer places. The women I met in the nicer neighborhoods did not smoke, do drugs, and drank socially at most. She should have other things going on in her life like school, a job, or a child. These women are much less likely to mess around. Being American puts you pretty much in the highest class in Colombia and opens the door for you to meet them.

An ISGer in Bogota told me the best looking girl he met in Santa Fe was an 8. He had to go to the higher end normal clubs to see 9's and 10's, and I think that is because of the emphasis on health. The women I was serious with ate right and worked out, and it showed.

Unless you live in Florida, getting back and forth to Colombia is not easy, and I do not think you can expect loyalty unless you are there every month or so. Free video chats help but it is not the same as being there. If you are not there often and you have a hot woman, she will likely leave because there are so many men around who are offering her the world. So unless you live in Colombia or have a very flexible schedule that allows for travel, a Colombian SB is a bad idea. If you want to reserve regulars to see, the hooker on retainer concept make much more sense.

One guy on here said my current gal was with me because I was her best offer which told me where he was hanging out. My gal has a hot friend, who is almost her equivalent looks wise, who has a Greek BF with a jet. I also met several high end women who had been to Europe, Mexico, and the USA and if they had not been there, they had family there. Being American gets you in the door but you have to do more than just be an American to seal the deal with the higher end women. I met one woman who had several offers at being a SB and marriage to Americans. Whether the offers were serious, I do not know but being attractive, great in bed, and having the ability to speak English, made me think she was not lying.

You can spend $500 easy in one night alone in So Paulo while in Scandallo club. I imagine OP is hanging out with 4 girls, each meal alone if dining at a nice place could be $50-$100 each, so $100-$200 just there, plus drinks and other misc. Expenses, like mixing in activities during the day like shopping. $500 is not a lot money while vacationing with 4 other people, specially girls. Again, Medellin must be the cheapest place in the world.

Some guys are on a tight budget. Some have inexhaustible funds. Some prefer cheap accommodations or lower price girls, even though they could easily afford the red carpet route. Some would prefer a better lifestyle, but lack the resources.

Regardless of income or preferences they all have 1 thing in common. They've all taken the plunge to satisfy their desires in Medellin. How they do it, who they do it with, and how much they pay are all irrelevant details. Add "how many girls" and what they looked like to the "who gives a fuck" list. Is there a Colombian entry stamp in their passport and did they enjoy themselves are the only important questions.

Now let's deal with the real stuff.

Other than renting a donkey, I've used every form of transportation available in Medellin. With traffic, construction and accidents it can easily take 45 minutes to go 5 miles. On a hot day choosing to spend less than $1 to embrace the third world culture for 10 minutes, via the Metro is more appealing than spending $6 for 45 minutes in a taxi with no air conditioning. My last 2 trips I've rented a car, but there are still situations when the smartest route is via the metro.

People's taste in women has nothing to do with what they can afford or what the girl will expect to be paid. Almost every girl available to you, no matter how much you're paying, has neighbors who are selling the same thing for less than $20. Often the only real difference between the $10-$20 girls and the $100-$200 girls is the price.

You may want to rethink your priorities. If you're thinking about how much your rental apartment cost and gloating because other guys are paying less, while fucking, I'm not sure you grasp the concept of fucking for fun.

Rooms are nice around $70 a night so you can get a few but I do not think there is a pool and jacuzzi. With that hotel, you will have no problem moving women in and out as the hotel lobby is on a higher floor and you can bypass it in the elevator. But it like a 3 star hotel.

I think the nicest pool I have seen in Medellin is at the Intercontinental. They have a suite there for $300 a night and lets you book four people at a time. I think that is what you are looking for. It and the Marriott were my two favorite hotels in Medellin.

And I think your budget for SA girls is on target. My guess is you are going to do tours or high end dining given your expenses for other things. Have fun.

The best hotels in Medellin are in the $150 to $300 a night range and if you are entertaining the higher end girls, you should go to a hotel like that. My first seeking encounters in Bogota were in the Hotel Ibis and it was night and day being there compared to the Marriott. Ibis was a shoe box like a Motel 6, and the women would get nervous that you had no money and it would be like "how much" all the time. Ibis is a great place though if you just want to bang Santa Fe hookers.

With the Marriott, the women and I would hit the pool, gym, buffets, and watch Netflix. The women wanted to stay because it was so nice, and none of them ever asked "how much". Hotel quality does not matter for hookers though.

What one guy wrote about conspicuous spending being possibly dangerous is true, so be careful. I had a guy in the Dollar Store line today pick a verbal fight with me for no other reason than I was buying a lot of shit. He even pushed up on me but I didn't feel threatened. He followed me to the door instead of paying for his single item, a bottle of Coke, and yelled at me, "Respect me, respect me!" I smiled and called him crazy which in retrospect I wish I had not done, but I did nothing knowingly to egg him on. I usually get along quite well with strangers.

I think it is better to list your requirements, like view, balcony, hot tube and number of rooms, then work out the price. You may spend less, or more but you get what you want.
