I don't do much. I usually just hit up 3-4 Botero girls a day and walk around el centro during each pop. Then I just go back to the Airbnb right when it gets dark and call it a day.
Long time admirer, second time visitor to this beautiful city. A World traveler (have been to most LatAm countries over the years).
I have a quick question: since I am not staying for long, paying premium is OK with me, but I don't want dar papaya.
I've read in some review that in order to get any attention from the ladies in either of the club (see the title), one has to get a table, I. E. Pay for the bottle service. That is pretty damn expensive, and I don't expect to down a bottle even with some help.
Is it true that if you don't get a table in either of this establishments, you get no action?
Having been to Colombia quite a few times; to me it rains all year round. Some cities more than others; its just part of life there. My solution is to duck into some place or stay in my hotel room or find a cafe, order a coffee and just wait it out. Usually after a half hour or an hour the rain stops and everything returns to normal.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine for 5 people costs money.
I can't imagine decent looking SA girls agreeing to 150 K or 200 K for overnight.

On many occasions people have alerted me of potential security issues; unzipped backpack, phone sticking out of pocket, even untied shoes. One morning I fainted on the Metro. Everyone nearby helped me back to me feet and someone ran to get help when the train reached the station. Nothing was taken and people showed genuine concern for my well-being.
Certainly, if you make it easy, there is always a risk someone will pick your pocket, but when it comes to risk, that one is pretty low on the list.

I was there in November and it was exactly like you said. I would hang out inside the small shopping centers until the rain stopped and then went back out again!
I haven't had safety problems. Pickpockets do work the metro. You have to stay aware of your belongings and put eyeballs on any sensation of touching near your pockets that aren't empty. Be advised that robberies of taxi and uber passengers do happen. Try to keep your phone out of sight and stay aware of motorcycles that pull up next to the car, especially when there are two male riders.

When you're in a taxi stopped at a traffic light at nighttime, you're a sitting duck. Which is why some taxi drivers will not obey the light if they're in a not-so-great area.

Do not let anyone rattle you. As far as I am concerned, you are getting a bargain.

...[/QUOTE]That is probably not true in La Isla. Last time I was there, it was packed and I did not have a table because none was available. There were one or two tables hoarding girls. I did not have issue finding girls but finding one who would do BBBJ was a challenge.
