It's pretty obvious his camera is at chest or just below chest level. And when he's in a soapie filming, it's kinda tilted, so I'm thinking more of a fanny pack type deal. I mean, when he's standing right in front of people recording them, the camera is clearly at mid height of an average person. If you're just some dude walking around the busy streets of Bangkok, no one's going to notice the hole where the tiny camera lens is recording out of. You got to give the guy props though, he's got balls to go into soapies to grab footage. He's a hero as far as I'm concerned, cause we'd never be able to see cool stuff like this. So, on that note, how do you guys feel about all this? With all the camera recording going on all the time now, all the youtubers, social media people, digital nomads and tourists recording everything all the time, especially in a high tourist area like Bangkok, how do you feel about being in somebody's footage at Nana, or Cowboy or Thermae, etc. If you don't care and you got nothing to lose, then it's fine, but what if you weren't supposed to be there, and an acquaintance or a friend watching a youtube video spots you being naughty and tells your wife? I'm just sayin'. Man, this is interesting stuff fellas. I ain't married, got nobody, barely even have any friends left (because I'm fucking old), and anybody that even remembers me would remember me from way over 30 years ago, so I don't even look the same no more. So I got nothin' to lose if I'm in someone else's footage, that's why when the time comes, I'll be the one doing the recording and uploading to youtube.

The street / the highway / the beach, is public and therefore not private. (2) indoors, on private premises, in gardens, patios, private swimming pools, people have a reasonable expectation of privacy and so filming "inside" is an infringement of private life.
So getting filmed walking around the streets of Bangkok / Pattaya / or anywhere else in the World is a risk married / partnered mongers take. And in any event why is it such a big deal then to be filmed walking around Nana plaza "I just wanted to see what all the fuss is about baby" would be a reasonable answer. It's not like the filming is of you doing DATY! So whilst I might not like that these people do this (I don't care if its for money or not), there is nothing wrong with it in a public place (subject to the caveat below).
But indoors is a different proposition. Is it really fair on the girls in a soapy to be filmed like this? Would they mind? Now some of them might consider it great advertising and hope for more of it. But I'm sure many would not. The punters would almost certainly mind.
But the big issue here for me is not the filming itself. It is the undercover mode of it. The question to ask is whether those being filmed would consent. If they would not, then the use of covert cameras is wrong, unfair, and an invasion of their privacy. I've got no problem if I walk down Walking Street and someone has a camera on a gimbal. I can choose to avoid being captured if I want, or turn my back / turn away or just ignore it. But I have choices because I can see it. For sure I might know that CCTV is watching every move anyway, but that's probably for security purposes / thieves / crime and I have no issue with that. But cameras in T shirts / in glasses etc? That's really sneaky. But far worse indoors. And for anyone thinking "I'm still cool with it indoors", ask yourself then if you'the be ok with a girl in a soapy having a hidden camera, then posting you on YouTube with your belly hanging out, and your boner being tiny. Still happy for that to all be out there? And if the answer to that is no, and for all of us apart from a tiny minority it would be, (other than the super ripped guys with huge cocks who might love it!) then we shouldn't want hidden cameras taking pictures close up in soapies / bars etc.
