I'm sure a lot of Mongers here have used Fiwfans. Though the site is great, navigating without understanding Thai is challenging.
Personally, I prefer to read through a lot of reviews before selecting a girl.
In Fiwfans, I see a lot of reviewers posting reviews, and it does have a leaderboard kind of thing. Does anyone know an English reviewer who posts genuine and detailed reviews?

I don't know why I haven't checked, other than the fact that by midnight I'm too wore out to check, even though its on my way home.
My advice to first timers or even second or third timers is to avoid FIW, and TF and Tindwer and all that. Get out on the streets boys.

I posted the following in the Pattaya thread but want to post it here in case I can get a different perspective.
My first trip to LOS is coming this December. Basically flying in late on a Friday night for 15 days. Since I'm coming in late at night, I booked myself in a Bangkok hotel for the weekend. I've also booked a hotel for Mon through the following Sunday in Pattaya. That leaves me with 6 more nights. Do I book more time in Pattaya? Go back to Bangkok? Or go someplace like Chiang Mai? Special note is I'm I long time hobbyist but I also like to experience the countries I visit. Any advice?

You may pay a slightly higher price booking as you go rather than booking 3 months in advance. But the experience will be well worth it if you get a boots on the ground feeling for the place. You will not be tied down to some schedule this way.

A few things in general I try and do, per a post from here a few months ago, spray alcohol on your junk right after the deed and try and urinate as soon as possible after the deed. Obviously using mouthwash right after as well.

I've been going back and forth on this but your point about leaving my options open until I get there is appealing. I've considered doing that because I may have a great time at one of these two and wish for flexibility. A few extra $ on hotels and potential flights may be worth it.
There are listings of Russian girls on MR and Eurogirls so I suppose that's an option for us folks. The prices will be high no doubt!
