I am arriving at SDQ airport I have tried to get in contact to A2b tranfers but was not able to schedule. Hoping to get some insight or help.
Send Boricua Online a PM, he has a guy who drives him from the airport to the city for around $25.
Also http://www.apolotaxi.com/ApoloTaxi/Bienvenidos.html, good to have the number of Apolo in your cell, Boricua Online got rates usually under 200 pesos for intercity trips, Apolo taxi from their webpage states an airport transfer is about $40. Apollo Taxi, (809) 537-0000, Office (809) 537-1245.
A place I have not used: http://www.dominicanairporttransfers.com/, shared and private transfers.
Good source in dr has confirmed the casa de sitas will be reopen within 48hrs. After almost 3 weeks everything has been resolved. Nothing was found in none of the clubs. It was just a matter of time and money of course. Rumors say that the old man at lapsus had something to do with it, but i think it really had to do more with the neighbors being assholes in the area. La pastel will be open plus club 305 aswell, and la parada. I here club 305 will be finalizing construction in the patio, and updating the inside. But i will know more as i arrive on saturday. The clubs in la venezuela were closed aswell, but those will take some more time to reopen. Personally i like sky high and of course 305. Let the games begin.

Santo Domingo.
This site states they have 2 bedroom apartments available: http://www.edificioread.com/
Short term studio and one bedroom apartments will be easier to find in Santo Domingo, than short term two bedroom apartments.
For rentals of one month or more there will be more options. Mundo Anuncio has listings for various sized apartments.
Another site for vacation rentals: http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rentals/dominican-republic/santo-domingo/r1270
http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/caribbean/dominican-republic/santo-domingo
This company appears to be reputable: www.santodomingo-apartments.com
This apartment is in a newly restored zona colonial building, this apartment has one bedroom, when I visited the building I was told they had at least 1 two bedroom apartment for rent, the building has underground parking, rooftop pool, on a quiet street in zona colonial. The day I visited, the owner of the two bedroom apartment wanted $100 per night with a two night minimum. http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p327917

From DR1. Com:
Bars in SDE to be quieter.
The owners of bars and nightclubs along Venezuela Avenue in Santo Domingo East (SDE) that were closed down because of the noise levels, will have to enclose their establishments with glass or other noise-dampening materials in order to re-open. According to El Caribe, deputy prosecutor Raquel Cruz has made noise reduction one of her primary causes, because of all the complaints from local residents.
Cruz said that if they continue to operate in the open, the bars would have to keep the noise level below 75 decibels. The sidewalks have been renovated and paved with ceramics and a ban has been imposed on placing chairs, tables or speakers out on the sidewalks. The Assistant the said that these measures were non-negotiable and if they were not obeyed the businesses would remain closed. Many of the businesses were conceived as "liquor stores" but their customers just hang out in the area and have blocked foot and vehicular traffic.
These are positive developments. It is long overdue. Neighborhood leaders have been demanding action for many years. It is only recently that we are seeing some leadership from law enforcement. I am especially pleased about the enforcement of rules against motorcycles in the tunnels and on the elevated roadways. I don't expect the motorcycle rules enforcement to last because I've seen it come and go so many times. You will still be able to find more girls than you can possibly get with in a lifetime. Don't worry.

I have 2 girls in Santo Domingo at this time, Melissa & Sabrina.
Either of these girls is absolutely a world class escort. One of the most beautiful and talented girls in the world. Either one of these stunning European girls will provide you a complete exciting full service adult adventure.
Not surprisingly they are already getting to be busy girls. If you would like to meet either of these beautiful young ladies send me an email. Or perhaps you would like to meet both of them.
Thanks.

www.vodkaescort.com
Caribescort and vodkascort girls are hot, cute, pretty, gorgeous, beautiful, no doubt about it. For those prices I can have fun with six puertorican girls or 15 dominicanas as gorgeous as these european cuties and the best thing: my latinas scream in Spanish.
Don't you have a two chicas one hour 1500 DOP special? The first beer is on me!
Returned from a 4 day weekend in Santo Domingo. Was a 1rst time visitor, wanted to explore the city, get some sun so I did not hit too many spots. The Pasteur Ave area is still closed. Lapsus is open. I walked by 360 on Friday night and a guy who said he was the owner was at the gate, they were working on cleaning up / setting up the inside. Should be open late week he said. Saw a few streetwalking girls on George Washington, at least 4-5 that were apparent to me. My Spanish skills were lacking and none were all that appealing to me so I didn't really go for that action. Tried Lapsus, a ST session with a girl AnnaLisa. I am not a fan of their short time rooms. Met one thru the 360 owner on Friday night. Casinos also seem to have a few, they are playing slots but not really playing all that hard.
Played some poker at the Barcelo. Very passive limpy game with avg 3+ limper / callers preflop per hand. No aggression and they buyin for 500 pesos thus needing to go allin with any kind on hand on the flop. They paid off very nicely. Ate at Davy Crockett Steakhouse. 34 Parada. Not world class but very good, by far best meal of trip.

Guys I am not sure if any of you have seen "Sanky Panky"? I was searching on youtube for DR films to quelch my urges to quit my job and hop on the next the next plane when I came across this. It really does hit on some funny stereotypes. It comes in about twelve parts available on youtube. Your spanish skills have to be pretty good, enjoy.
