I just moved to Shanghai and thought I would share a recent experience. Checked out Merrylin, which is within walking distance from the Metro so is fairly convenient. It was early on a Friday even so there weren't many customers and I had my pick of 15 girls and chose 827 since I'm a breast man and seems like she had a nice pair. A nice Vietnamese girl (Moon) stroke a conversation when I arrived and pretty much stayed with me until 1:30AM. She looked OK but not the best in the bar, as I had more drinks she started looking better. I admired her patience for we did not talk about money until about 1AM, after 2:30 hours of stroking and light kissing. When I was ready I asked her for a price, she said 1500, I said that is too much and she quickly accepted 1000 RMB.

Sounds like she just wanted to leave the bar early, shoot quickly and get back to the bar for a second customer. Manhattans can stay busy until late morning.

By normal fee, what she means is that most girls will HOPE for 1, 500 LT. Many will go for 1, 000 LT depending on the time of night. 1,000 ST is probably a pretty standard offer but only on the basis that she can get back to the bar in the hope of picking up second client. It's just the nature of the business.
