I forgot to mention after 3 days of fcuking non stop, I went to the pharmacy directly across the street from the San Peter and asked for Viagra. The pharmacist who was very nice and could speak perfect english introduced me to the Lysto Spray which is essentially Viagra in Spray Form you pump in to your mouth. On the 19th of this month, the day Petro was elected, the exchange rate USD to COP was 3912 COP, today it's at 4129 COP and has risen over 5% in less than 10 days.

Nobody knows if this trend will continue, but I'm going hit a Scotia / Colpatria ATM today. And if the rate goes up tomorrow will hit the ATM again, and will continue each day if the rate keeps going up.

As I recall the highest the exchange rate was about 4162 COP about two months ago, and I hit the ATM's.

I have no experience with Gana.[/QUOTE]Thanks for the clarification of S versus E. Your post is confusing, you say a Passport is not required to sign up at Efecty, yet you used a Passport card to sign up.

Regardless, Gana's are what most Colombians use to send funds to one another in Medellin besides Efecty as I haven't seen Gana's in other Colombian Cities outside of Antioquia but am sure they exist. And for those with Cedulas sending money, Gana will also verify your identity by scanning your thumb print to confirm your in the system. As far as Venezuelan Cedulas being in their system, I don't think so because of the thumbprint verification process, but don't know.

Regardless, a foreigner will not be able to send money using Gana unless they present their Passport whether it be the card or the book. But few foreigners have Passport cards as they cannot be used for entry into Colombia, I have a Passport card as well, and as you know it can't be used for International travel by air, hence most foreigners in Medellin don't carry them.

Besides using Gana to send money, many people pay their EPM bills and make all kinds of other payments with them besides being able to recharge phones. They seem to be everywhere you look all over Medellin and I use them a lot.
