Here is my report on Private X having just visited Taipei for the first time. I live in another Asian city, and didn't find a whole lot in way of options, not being able to speak too much Chinese.

I saw 3 hotels within 1 minute walk of Private X. They are Mai Hotel, Dandy Hotel, and Tien Chin Hotel. Tien Chin had their number posted on their sign 2536-5678. You may have to dial the country prefix along with 2 when dialing from out of the country. I never stayed at any of these hotels so I can not vouch for their quality. There are also some higher quality hotels on the main Zhongshan North Rd. Private X also has open sleeping theater areas with porn if you don't mind the old men snoring. I've taken a nap there after a session. I would not want to spend the night there, but for a rainy afternoon, it is not a bad pace to nap and chill.

Dandy is very popular so pretty difficult to book unless you book early. Mai hotel is decent, available and affordable. None of them have a pool. If you're willing to pay more of a premium, the luxurious Okura Prestige is right across the street. Gorgeous 5-star facilities with excellent pool and fitness center.

So I just tried it this afternoon.

I would not recommend using this provider if you can't speak or write in Chinese at all. All the process is in Chinese by messaging through line.

Everything happens as Nakameguro said so I will just complete / correct what he said:
