IMO you can do better; better service, better value, and better/same quality of chica. From what I've seen on the board there simply put there are better options out there in terms of well everything, better!

Many new girls at the CB so your not so correct and for example.
A guy that has been here 26 times since Aug 2004 "hoserack" has been here this trip for 4 days and had 3 girls a day, all new, would you like his e-mail address to talk about his experiences.

I would say no go. Most everybody will be away with family at "la finca" and the entire town will be dead from what I hear.

I can tell you from first hand experience that Late Nov till like Mid Dec is AWESOME! The malls are packed with groups of girls, they close down streets and have bands/DJs, I spent a few of the best night of my life drinking and dancing in the streets with random chicks; no sex just dancing and it was SO AMAZING!, they light up the river and tons of people hand down there, even though the lights are crap IMO.

So if you can move up your travel plans.

Hi Ricker,

I agree with you completely. Ricker, you can forget the pricing. Loutron to me is a shit hole. Most girls at Loutron only give Mechanical Service. I did not partake this last trip in Loutron, just went to see the line up. One of my friends did take a girl from Loutron and was not too happy with the experience. For similar reasons I don't partake in Fase Dos either similar mechanical service.

One might get lucky once in a while in both places but they are more of an exception.

If I want mechanical service I would just visit the centro casas which are much better value for the money like New Like. As matter of fact one have a better chance of getting better service at these centro Casas.

Thanks. All good points. But please consider CB is booked. Unless I am mistaken, you cannot enter CB or enjoy the girls if you don't have a room at the hotel? Therefore, CB is not an option. Does this sound right? Or has something changed and one can enjoy meeting CB girls without being a part of the hotel? Otherwise, it is a moot point, no?

Well The Tall Man bit the bullet and decided to head to MDE from Dec. 15 through 27th! All of your rants and raves about Medellin got me thinking, so here I go. I learned in life that there are basically two kinds of people - the first are talki and the later are the doers.

I have been twice this year to Colombia but spent most of my time with just 'good old traveling around' using Bogota as my home base.

I got an apartment and I plan on just using this as an intro trip to get my bearings.

As I'm shying away from the pros as of late (actually getting kind of tired about it after 15+ years in many countries) I am interested which malls and/or areas would a gringo hang out in and about to meet real woman?

I thank all of you for your info and suggestions that I have been reading on this Colombian forum.

Thats correct, CB is only open to guests, when we have former guests that have stayed with us and carnt get in because of late bookings or changes to there own particular circumstances, we allow them in.

Many people have said, why dont you get another property, "not interested in the work side of it"

One dude was out for 36 hours the thieves ran up 53k in charges on his credit cards while he was sleeping off the drugs. There is a drug war going on in envigado now and has been for several months. 18 people where shot and killed there a month ago, as a result I think a lot of the street dealers don't have any blow to sell so are turning to robbing gringos to make ends meet. Last month at lunch time two locals robbed a colombian lady in the middle of parque lleras, they snatched her purse, but a guard for one of the bars pulled his gun on them and held them until the cops got there to arrest them. There have been a lot more cops in lleras since this happened. 4 guys I know from Costa Rica were robbed at gun point in front of the house where they killed escobar a month ago, they lost their cameras and wallets and cash, it did make it a memorable trip however. Keep I'm mind this isn't disney world.

Most Colombian women seem to be focused on their agenda. Anyway I sat outside on the balcony with a great view eating lunch. A mother(about 55yo) and a daughter(28yo) sat in front of me. They were taking pictures of each other so I asked if they would like for me to take pictures of them. They said sure. The daughter spoke perfect english and was visiting her mom from New York.

They asked me to join them and we all talked an hour over cofee. The daughter was basic but was clean and nice. The mom still had it also. I lied and said it was my first visit to Medellin and I hoped one day to move there. They took me through the usual pop quiz. Are you married? Nunca, do you have kids? Si, what do I do? Why haven't you ever married?

Well they invited me to have dinner during my stay and we exchanged numbers. I had Darly and Maria from SanDiego on my agenda for that night. I called the second day and asked for lunch. They were great hosts, and if my game was about doing the right thing it might have been something special there. But Medellin is to much fun to settle down with one chic right now. That night hit Luna Luneras with Caroline then closed Mayorista finishing with San Diego. I emailed the daughter and said I was visiting family in NY forThanksgiving and were having dinner this Saturday. So yes TallMan you can stumble onto a non-pro but I think you have to be sure thats what you want.
