One thing if you have all day to experiment with BTS / MRT line changes, but when your time is limited, and you have [I]things[/I] to do, and I use [I]things[/I] in the most general of contexts, I'd go with a taxi. Returning, you might get a refusal, I'd try again, and if a third, then I'd up the ante a bit. I think while I was there last month, they raised the authorized meter rate. That's why SuperRich is actually a pretty good answer. They aren't the absolute best rate in town, but they're always right up there near the top. Plus they're basically everywhere. No need to burn time running from exchange to exchange comparing rates. Just walk into most any upscale-ish mall (the street kisoks named 'SuperRich' are often fakes. Avoid.) and know you're getting a decent rate. Again not the absolute best rate, but you can be sure you're not getting clipped.
