I have an upcoming trip to Thailand early February but can only use the last day and night to have some fun. Can't check things out before because of work colleagues but my flight is 1 day later. I am looking for recommendations and feedback what to do. I am planning to go during the afternoon to a soapie or similar place, then have dinner and then plan to go out to have some drinks and fun bringing somebody back to the hotel. Because it's one day only I am willing to spend more for convenience, looks and good service but still within reasonable limits. I am a white a bit older guy.

What place would you recommend for the afternoon for a first round? Saw recent recommendations like La Belle and then also the various soapies that were recommended.

Regardless, it's A club not a venue with many clubs. I would recommend Nana to get the true Bangkok gogo experience. Have a beer down in the central courtyard and just take it in - 20+ clubs all lit up in neon with pretty girls all wanting to fuck you. Billboard is an amazing experience. I would def go there. A ton of hot girls. The soapy hot tub and the rotating cameltoe stage! It's just great fun to soak it up. Butterflies is similar but less party vibe and younger and less silicone imo. Rainbow seems popular but I never went.

But my general advice is to do the REAL Bangkok gogo experience and Nana is great for that.

I only went the second time because I did not believe it could be as disappointing as the first. It was! Here are the pros and cons of Pimp. Pros. There is a very large line up of girls and the majority (but not all) of them are good quality with one or two stand outs. Probably fair to say the quality is better than any of the bars you will find in Nana. Billboard and Butterflies are decent with some good options but you will be looking at the girls dancing on stage in Pimp and thinking you made a good choice. Providing you have money to burn you could well find the place amazing. Another pro. The private rooms you take girls to are better than your hotel. Some have their own pool table and KTV (Karaoke facility). It is high standard. The rooms are superb and the shows on stay and music are far better than the loud din of Nana. Here are the cons. It's miles from anywhere! You'll be in a cab for 30 minutes if you are are only 14 minutes from Nana. No big deal if you leave early enough. Next con. It is soul-less. Ok you are going for girl company not the vibe, but because the pricing is off the scale you will find that (a) there are not a lot of guys there (b) when a crowd of (mainly Korean) guys do appear they keep themselves to themselves but the the girls know they are big spenders and you may find unless you pick quickly you suddenly get little attention from the best lookers. The prices of drinks and rooms are high. You will be expected to buy a bottle of something (not great if you expect to stay sober ish to perform). You mentioned spending 10 k or more. It's the latter and by some margin. Budget for 20-25 k. You won't be taking girls out of Pimp club. They work inside the club. Sure once in the private room the girls will give you their Line numbers but if you only have one night that's useless to you. People think 20 k is crazy money. Depends what you are used to. For a private room and KTV in Thaniya you'll pay 3500 - a long way short of Pimp prices. Hence it's easy to take 2 or 3 girls for a party if that takes your fancy.
