Reading your posts reminds me of watchcng the Mr Mann character in the Little Britain comedy series. An irritating man who goes in to a shop to ask for the most blindingly obscure stuff every week, for nothing more than to irritate the shopkeeper. Its hilarious. Something random but something that weighed on me last night. The level of poverty here is no joke for example this lady.

This lady didn't have any business due to the heavy rain and was with her 2 kids.

We are all here to have fun. I ask you all to take a step back, observe your surroundings, and support the local small vendors in any way you can. Buying them a beer or a drink while they waiting around on you goes a a long way.

Going to Medellin for the first time next month. I have RTFF about a year's worth of reports and lately continue to follow all posts in this thread. Still, I don't feel prepared. The hotel / AirBnb information is all over the place; it seems hotel / AirBnb is guest friendly on whim so I may have to just book a hotel room for two people and prepare to pay for if I bring two guests at once.

How to keep valuables safe when you bring chicas to the room? I know some hotels provide a safe but by some posts, they don't seem like big enough for a laptop. And if not laptop, what do you use if you need to cast (porno for inspiration? I also read posts about people being mugged so I am worried about walking on the streets with my phone. Without my phone, it would be hard to get around or do anything. Having the phone out and in hand is the obvious thing to do when using it for directions.

Any advice or tips from the seniors on this forum?

You should organize barrio tours. It might be a good money maker.

PSA: The Little One, the smoking hot roommate of Freckle. A mini-Vennie type. Now that I am leaving as this couple's main source of support, she is working Poblado, if you are so inclined.
