The other bars stay on the 'safe' side of the laws in this hypocritical country. Going to fully nude bars puts you in more danger than is worth it IMHO, YMMV.

Any one ever rent a car and drive yourself in the Phils? I have NEVER even attempted this, but a friend of mine is making their cherry trip and is thinking to do this.
BTW, looking for a wing man in late July.

Place name the nudy dancer bars and also the other cities you know.
I only know of IloILo, the most eastern bar (of 2) on JM Bassa street has a kind of strip show.
All are in ILoIlo local oriented bars (=sleeze) there.
But the price for the girl (and beer) is rather expensive in all local bars like these. And also most woman are older etc etc (low Q).
I don't know if they just ask higher prices to farang.
But most locals just drink a few redhorses and even fall in sleep so how bad the woman looks they even don't see it. Happely most still wear a little thin thing at the final stage (they return 3 times) to hide something what should not be seen (after pregnant belly).
Nice cities to have a break from all the nice and cheap girls from Bilbao. I mean a few days just drinking beer and look to the real Philippine live. But better take a twice as cheep girl and twice as pretty (and twice as young) when you return to Bilbao. At least if you didn't loose your appatite.

In PI I will never drive a car.
1) they drive like idiots in the big city (one traffic Jam in every city above 200. 000 inhabitants because it is too hot to walk)
2) if you get an accident they will put you in jail until they know who caused the accident (a. Yeah. The one who has money.)
3) you get out of jail if you payed all.
Same counts for all other things that can go wrong (like having a minor).
Start to pay as soon as asked and get as soon and as far as possible away as long as you have the opportunity because it will only get you in more problems if you think you are in your wright.
Maybe that is true. But for sure you will not get it.
As long as you smile they smile. Be carefull as the smiling stops.
So don't drive, avoid minors and all other illigal or unrespectfull things.
Busses are good and cheap!

Everyone thinks of doing this on their first trip but quickly changes their mind after getting here. Traffic is horrendous in the larger cities. Difficult to find your way around. Risk of being extorted for money if you have a collision is very real.
It is possible but not really worth the hassle. Hard to hire a self drive vehicle outside of big cities, vast majority are rented to you WITH a driver who you will have to keep fed & watered wherever you go ;) We own a vehicle but still use trikes & taxi's a lot because its so convenient & each driver is a walking cross between a GPS unit & a concierge.

Thanks for the ammo. I'll share with my friend to convince him he's nuts.
I have always hired family friends to drive us around. It costs more, but less hassle. I remember my first trip the only way to get a driver to drive us from Glorietta to Tondo was to LIE to them where we were going. After we got started, we told him the real destination. Didn't get all the way there, but at least to the LRT, then a jeepney then a tricycle. quite an adventure. Never been a big fan of the busses. Got stuck on an un aircon one once after our van broke down.
Over all, getting around in the Phils can be a hassle. Been in about 4 breakdowns and one accident. The police negotiations were interesting. I stayed in the car, but it still was our fault. (even though it wasn't. I was told it was because I was Puti, even I wasn't driving)
I too have never considered driving. It would take me two weeks just to get out of NIAA. LOL

Why rent a car taxi is so cheap here if you don't know the area why drive your self make sense and manila traffic cop is know to stop people for a shake down and newbie tourist like you are what the look for.

It's been a while since I've been but in Pasay there is Miss Universal which is pretty big on FB Harrison. Up the street is a smaller, local club called Monriz. Down on Taft is a place called Vocano which is also mainly for locals but all have full nude shows.
In Paranaque there are a few, I know of one called Kalesa and many of the ones on Roxas Blvd are also nude. East Asia and Viva Manila are a couple.
In Quezon City, go to Quezon Ave. Mystique has a nice show and I often would go there. They have runways down the middle where the girls will strut nude. I'm drawing a blank on the names of the others--there's one right next to Mystique that begins with a P.
These are only a few that I can think of off the top of my head...
I'm heading down to Baloy in subic (well technically I don't think it is in subic itself) and staying at the Treasure Island Resort. I was in subic last year with my GF so couldn't do much except for salivate at the girls. If anyone is heading (or thinking about heading to subic) then let me know and maybe we can hook up for a beer and maybe to barhop. I checked out a lot of the places last time and looks like a fun place to spend some time. The TI resort looked great with a huge pool but they were booked last time. Also will be taking the camera and a few lights so hopefully will be able to get some good photos this time. Oh yeah, going down on the 14th May. May 19th. After that, back to AC.

The best place to change USd to Pesos is around Ermita area near LA cafe.
there are many money charge places there.
You will get 2 peso more than in AC, but be careful on getting short change.

Money changers are crooks here as in most third world countries.
Wanna get ripped off & cry about it, be my guest.
As you get on & off the plane there are legit money exchange facilities in the terminals.
If you stroll over to SM Mall in Angeles there is a legit money exchange facility.
There are plenty of banks in AC where you can get FOREX facilties.
Who comes to another country without money in a bank account?
Just stick your ATM card in an auto teller at SM Mall at withdraw whatever you need, it will be in pesos..

I have written a bit about money changer rip offs and even included a picture of an Ermita rip off place. Nevertheless, I tend to be cash heavy and have credit cards as back up. I keep one in the box, and on in my room, use cash to navigate my way.
But, when AV says "money changers are crooks" he has written something I disagree with. Most money changers are in business, want to stay in business and want to make money honestly. They can make money because they provide a convenient service.
A wayward changer, or more likely, a thief employee, will soon be discovered. If AV knows of such a rip-off place, it would be a great service if he were to include the details here at ISG.
