For years I have observed that over 90% of the problems near clubs occurs between 3:00 a. M. To 6:00 a. M. So avoiding being late late to such places if your best thing to do. Assaults can happen but all these places have indoor and outdoor security so it is a little strange. Deaths have also accured outside the places, not in recent years as far as I know (well a person got killed near Lips last year which is in a good area.) Full service is around $150 for the chica, room and a bottle of champagne.

The area (Puerto Nuevo) is highly populated by dominicans and is in between of three big housing projects with a high crime rate. Each country has its crime rate and while two countries can have a similar crime rate (DR and PR are a good example) , delinquent targets are different in each country. For example, while Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic have similar per capita crime rates, a tourist is by far a target in DR than in PR.
