That's a given, Jackson. Anyone who's lived in this Country long enough knows that local authorities have their respective cities mapped out better than anyone else. I would still encourage caution during this period to people visiting Shanghai for the first time or are not familiar with the environment. Bottom line. Better safe than sorry.

Beyond the righteous pursuit of helping sex tourists avoid creepy situations, the International Sex Guide offers assistance to those visitors to China whose language limitations might otherwise impede their ability to get the best possible service. Also it would have been quite convenient for someone as well heeled as the folks that run Sacrosa (I mean they are very serious about this biz just opening HeTIng), to drop a few hints and a gift here and there to the their guanxi friends to see that the neighborhood just had one good choice.

It appeared to me that this operation was not quite so well funded as some of the other going up.

Probably other reason we can only guess at.

I was at my regular joint a couple of evenings ago. The manager told me that the police are doing their usual rounds of raiding the establishments by each district. They said it should be over in the next few weeks and things will return to normal.

I'm going to be in Shanghai for three days next week, then on to Hangzhou for a month. It looks like you guys have a lot of good spots for some great experiences. I have a question though, what level of Chinese should I have? In most cases however the girls do not speak english at all. But this does not matter that much, it is easy to find out for them what you want with signs, etc. It is all about fun anyway.

B1 has an arcade, and along the wall are those fun-house mirrors. The stair well headed down from B1 to B2 has new wall paper, again with bright colors and the children's playground theme. To be sure, B2 didn't fit the theme.

As for the Sacrosa obervation, again, I was thinking the same thing. The same folks who own Sacrosa own Heting Elite, which, probably has a lot of overhead. You can only drive so much business to Heting by giving out 168 RMB coupons a the front desk of Sacrosa. Any additional revenue driven into Sacrosa from the closing of B2 should help the owners cover overhead at Heting.

Certainly none of these things can be proven, but they are, nonetheless, plausible scenarios.
