I am in similar situation as yourself, originally from Mumbai. I visit Cal once every couple of years and try to get some action without going to SG for fear of being seen. I know chances are rare being seen, and if someone I know sees me there, that make the 2 of us, so i shouldn't really fear :)

It is very unfortunate to see our (Kolkata) forum quiet!

Quietness is because we had enough information from macro level to mega level – fortunately/unfortunately about SG only! Compared to other cities forum. We are yet to break the shell to see our forum flourishing with more sharing outside SG.
This does not mean there is no happening in Kolkata, presuming that fellow mongers feel not to become over familiar in this forum for their own privacy reasons (we all feel the same. At the same time we need to respect senior members for their generous help)
