20 k a month is NOT the average salary. Average salary is less than 10 k a month. Working in a voice call center is one of the higher paying jobs starting out around 12-15 k a month. Good and experience ones would make 20 k plus a month. Very few graduates would qualify to work in a call center.
I think a household would need 20 k a month to survive. It takes 2 or more working and contributing to survive.

I don't think she was referring to that as an annual salary. Not many Pinays can multiply or divide by 12. This girl has very expensive tastes and a wasteful lifestyle. She supports herself through prostitution and from generous handouts from a number of foreign mongers who may or may not have met her. She will complain to me that she is very hungry. An hour later, she will post on line photos of the meal she is having with her friend - shrimps, scallops, a big grilled fish and whole heap of vegetables, washed down with cocktails. Enough to feed six people. She and her friend will eat a few mouthfuls and then leave most of it behind. I'm sure such a feast would have cost about 3,000PHP.
As a college educated, junior receptionist at a hotel or a junior F&B assistant, she knows the salary is going to be very low. I just don't know why she would be telling the world about a totally false salary range, and then complain that she can't survive on 70K a month.
As with anything in the Philippines, nothing ever makes any sense and there is no proper reason for anything.

A grocery girl gets around 8000 per month. Do not be fooled by the way girls look and act. Most generally live in plywood shacks but they dress and conduct themselves with elegance. Their struggle for money is a daily one. Family knows where to buy cheap food. They cannot afford to to picky about what they eat.

I think this should be a good salary, above usual salaries from local employers.
My girlfriend works at a call center and said she makes 18,500. She has no problem living off that, but she does not have any kids and lives with someone. I asked her what would be a good salary. She said 30K would be good. I said shit, that is almost double.

I reckon half of you mongers on this board would know her as well, quite intimately. LOL. She said she makes 500 PHP a day, six days a week. That works out at about 12,000 a month. She sometimes runs out of money by the end of the month. She sees a couple of guys a month to top up her income. She has a nice attitude, is content and never asks for money, just accepting what the monger gives her.
We are fortunate in that not all girls are gold diggers and into the me too movement. I mean DT found out that even pros do not necessarily go away once you pay them. They tell their stories for more money and their 60 seconds of stardom. I have some regular girls who are happy with the pennies I throw at them.
