They raised prices because girls could not get enough money from cheap charlies (IMHO). Every business must raise prices occasionally. Did not coincide with current economic crisis.

Every guy also has the right to find somewhere else cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

i cruised soi 7/1 last night and verified that eden is definitely open. i was there just before 11 and there were 3 not so good looking girls outside sitting at the table and inside there were 2 not so good looking girls. extremely slim pickings, although when they do the line up, additional girls usually seem to appear. based on the worse than normal quality (even for eden) and my general fatigue from jet lag, i decided to pass.

the one girl i talked with said there were a lot of girls busy upstairs which may have been the case. the bar was almost deserted and marc was not there either, i was the only male in the establishment. i wanted to ask marc about the status of hell club in pattaya since i'll be there at the end of the week. i've heard they're closed down and their web site is dead.

i like to hang out at the ring and magic table next to eden and both were doing typical business. there were a few young hotties at magic table but were both already taken by the guys at the bar. nit from the ring is now the bartender at magic table (lila is gone) and the 2 bars are still tied together but under new management. the manager (was it richard?) is gone too.

the one thing that's the same is that almost everyone at the bar in magic table was smoking, which was one reason i didn't stay long.

i hopped a cab and went down to cowboy and was in the mood for some hands-on playskool action and ended up barfining an old friend there who was working her last night before heading home for songkran.

i'm guessing that the numbers of girls is going to decrease as songkran approaches but i was here last year during the whole holiday and there were still plenty to go around. all for now, the main reason for the post was to verify that eden is open as usual. btw, if there was some sort of "renovation", it was pretty minor. it looked the same to me.

I landed in Bangkok yesterday and am leaving again today. That didn't leave me too much time, with work and all.
I had sent email to Marc about Eden and he confirmed it is open (thanks guys for checking it out for me anyway). So that was to be my first stop. After the pharmacist that is. A packet of Cialis 20 mg now costs 1800 BHT for four pills (in one of the pharmacies on Sukhumvit). That is pretty steep I think.

So I got to Eden around 6 PM. I do think the inside of the bar has been renovated a little,although I admit it has been a year or so since I was there last. Prices have increased a little in that there doesn't seem to be a discount anymore if you come before 8 PM. So it is 1800 BHT per girl, but you have to take two.

The bar was pretty empty, except for a few girls who were not really my taste. I got the line up and would say there were perhaps 12 girls in total to choose from. Not a big selection obviously. I selected one from the right, whose name was Pani (a few tattoos but nothing disgusting) or something like that, and she selected Om.

Up we went and through the normal Eden routine, meaning they wash and clean you like you have never been cleaned before. I only like straight stuff so after an excellent blow job I went through all possible positions with Pani, while Om was massaging my balls. Then after some rest they changed roles and I did very much the same thing with Om.

I left them a tip and paid the bill downstairs with VISA. I had done that before and know it shows up pretty anonymously on your VISA statement.
All in all it was a good experience, but it didn't really blow my mind. The girls, albeit very nice and "accommodating" if that is the right word, were a bit too mechanical. They also almost didn't have any English at all, while I like to chat a bit before and in between. I also think that Pani was not too experienced, while Om clearly was. Pani told me she had been working there for only two months, and while I know that is generally speaking a lie, I sort of believe that.

On the way out I met Apple again, who I had had last time, and who is great fun. So indeed some of the girls were busy already, which might explain the lack of girls.

What bothers me a bit about this experience at Eden is that if you cannot have some chit chat with the girls, it becomes too much of a mechanical thing. It reminds me of the immortal quote from Kill Bill : "My name is Buck and I'm here to fuck." Well, no doubt some of you will argue that is exactly what you are there for. And I admit to some extent it makes Eden what it is. I just like the small talk.

I wonder why Bangkok doesn't have the sort of establishment like the Termas in Rio. Everyone knows what you are there for, but you can have a closer look at the girls first, there is some small talk exchanged, and enough hanky panky to get you ready for action before you go to the room.
So in summary, Eden is definitely still the place to go if you want to be safe and it is certainly still value for money. The quality of the girls probably varies, and this wasn't the best day, obviously.

Later that night I went on a stroll to Soi Cowboy and visited Shark and Lucky Star (Long Gun). Shark obviously had the best looking girls, but I didn't take any out. Tiger beer is 125 BHT if you are interested.

After that I went over to Beergarten on Soi 7, but boy, the women there were ancient this time. Wouldn't touch them with a stick.

Decided to finish the evening in Nana, and did the tour of almost all the bars. On the top floor right hand side they have this bar with a rodeo bull you can ride (No thanks!). There were very few girls,but when I just got in there was a lesbian show on a revolving platform involving three girls and a lot of water and soap. Didn't leave anything to the imagination. The girls were very aggressive, pushing me to go to hotel immediately, and pushing my fingers inside their pussy right there. But I don't stick my fingers in just anyone, so I passed that too.
I ended up in Rainbow 4 which I thought had the best looking girls and plenty of them. In fact, these gogo bars don't do much for me. Actually, it is more along the lines of once a sucker.... I have avoided Annie's like the plague for years...i go to places on Petchaburi that have mostly Thai/Asian clientele...i pay 1300 baht to 1900 (1900 for the sideliners, all young, model level, no kids), you get two shots, there are no attitudes whatsoever, tips are not expected, and business is booming...you pay way less and get way way more...just a case of venturing a bit further than the Nana extortion world.

500 is considered the minimum tip at Annies. The girls cannot make a living without the tips.

I’ve been a regular at Annie’s Soapie (I think the sign says “Sauna”) over the years too. But the girl quality has really slid and my favorites are now all gone. I'll have to check it out. I was there last in February looking for an old reliable (An #8) but they said she was gone and I ended up having a mediocre session (at best). Most of the girls there were older and not very attractive.

Also, I have never known them to have a 2-tier price structure. All the girls sit together in the little fish bowl, not like the big places where they have the girls in sections and even some not in the bowl (the top tier).
