No nothing new on the sky unfortunately. Anyhow I didn't notice any difference when I went out Saturday to an Ukrainian local bar, then Radio Disco Hall and at four in the morning I dropped by RP. Maybe the fact that it was Halloween compensated the drop of people usually going out. After this weekend I will be more accurate in my report.

In a logical world it should definitely strengthen my negotiating position, but in a logical world – if I would been an Ukrainian djevuska – I would literally through myself on any foreigner and leave this country for good!

I will check out the scene this weekend, and see if the hard nosed-sushi (all girls here want to have sushi on a date sooner or later) has changed their attitude.

I'd say 70-80% of profiles say White/European on all the sites with Eastern European women on it. I have found a majority of them say nothing as well as in "Not Important" and let's be honest here, most women Western, Southern or Eastern are looking for "Few Good Men".

I never let Racism stop me from doing what I want. I walked around Kyiv very late at night and in very dark non-touristy areas and nothing happen. I wasn't overtly concerned with my safety at any one time.

If I become a victim of a crime its more than likely not based on my skin color but more with the fact that I was at the time an available target. I tend not to be alone, this rarely happens. I'm more likely to get ripped off by people I just met. I was confronted in Stockholm by a Polish Guy that had spent time with me and this other Black Frenchmen about some money or something. If a guy is presentable looking and has good game he's going to score regardless of his skin colour or nationality. If there are any women in Ukraine who are put off by a guys colour they are more than cancelled out by the ones who actively seek someone of colour.

The truth is the most successful guys with women are the ones who take a little time to understand their target audience. Once they've gained that knowledge and coupled it with a little charm and presentable appearance they are home and dry.

Actually I don't even think about them (stereotypes). I just find some of the post around here terribly interesting.

Gents, I have RTFF but I have a couple of questions.

As you read through the forums you see that things sometimes seem to ebb and flow, things that were gospel a couple years ago may have changed so I am looking for some up to date info. Everyone has their own opinions and when you are looking to travel to a country for the first time it can get a bit confusing with non current information from past posts.

I know there are a couple mongers that live in the area and I would appreciate your knowledge as well as the advice of recent travelers to Kiev in general. I might travel into other areas but will be mainly in Kiev in mid December for a little over a week.

I am more of a Dubai guy so things there are pretty straightforward. I was wondering if RP was like some of the clubs in Dubai (aka The York) or if there is more effort involved. I am pretty good at meeting people but sometimes I like a little straight forward p4p, less drama, you get what you want and move on...I assume that RP is pretty straightforward place? It seems to be the place to go from what I read...I know the prices are higher but I have the cash and can start there and maybe to get a feel for the game in the Ukraine.

I am not a Russian speaker so I understand I am at a disadvantage for freebies but I have overcome that in many countries throughout the world so I will get by. I make friends pretty easily and am good at finding my element in various countries and cultures.

I hear alot on the apartments...it is that much of an issue with hotels? If so I guess I will look for one but I like to live it up a bit and a hotel is just more convenient in most places for me. I have read on the areas that are best to stay but is there a specific hotel that is best or a couple that are in that category. I usually stay at higher end places but I will be happy with clean, private and with wifi. If you have a suggestion for a nice apartment I would be willing to look into it.

No flames please, just looking for some current info.

The last question is how is the scene in mid December in Kiev, I know the Russian Orthodox Christmas is not till early January so I assume the University is still going strong and the kids are in the clubs.

In Baku you had to ninja stealth out of the place and the girl would follow you and asked if you needed a ride or something, you talked business in the car and usually had to leave a little tip for the local police stalking the place. This might of been a one time situation as I was only there for a short time. I just like to know if things are straightforward as I hate playing the spy games.

1) Negotiate price. Their initial offer will be anywhere from 30-70% higher than what you actually have to pay them to go home with you.

2) If you are into any extras like anal etc., this is up to the girl and up to negotiation. Many guys insist you should discuss this up front with the girl. I personally have better luck discussing these things with them back in the relaxed atmosphere of the apartment or hotel when they have figured out that I am not some sort of "maniak"... just a "sex maniak". :)

3) "all night" doesn't mean all night unless you clear this up. Many girls will try to "escape" after the first session. Make sure before taking them what time frame you expect from them.

4) And finally, many RP pros are seasoned veterans and will try to get away with servicing newbies as little as possible before leaving your apartment or hotel and heading home... or back to RP for the next guy. If you are a veteran, make sure they recognize this. Getting top performance really is about charisma, personal chemistry and respect. Even the most seasoned pro can turn into a purring love slave if she respects you and enjoys your company.
