When you are in a major metropolitan area in the middle of the day and you find yourself on an isolated street you have to get the fuck back to civilization as soon as possible.

This sort of area is known by security and law enforcement people as "no go zones. " It's a very reliable rule of thumb that there is safety in numbers.

A deserted area in an otherwise densely populated area is a major red flag. Next time, take the bus.
