Hi friends,
I'm planning a one week trip to Thailand starting next week. This is first time visiting Thai and traveling alone. Read some reports about the Indians not treated well at some places.
Planning a 3 days at Patayya and 3 days at Bangkok, thinking whether to add 2 days to Phuket inbetween.
Requesting to share your experience about how to enjoy the most. Suggestion for hotels and places to visit (gogo bars, etc) for Indians. Where can pick good chicks. Please refer you older posts, I searched many pages but could not find any reports.
Also please share the current rates at MP, ST and overnight stays.

Hi friends,

I have recently been to Thailand. You will have the time of your life.
My advice.
1. Indians have a very bad reputation of being cheap, smelly and always travelling in a group. And trust me in my short stay there, even I could understand that we generally give a very bad account of ourselves.
2. Wear clothes you are comfortable in, add a dash of perfume (tip. You get good deals in the airport duty free). Make a good first impression.
3. Always travel alone. Never in a group. Be confident. No one is going to rob you.
4. Hit the GoGo bars early. Some may refuse entry outright. You can try tipping the front men, or try another bar.
5. Pattaya. Peppermint, Baccara are good. Bangkok. Tillac is good. Although the options are too many. Or just go into any beer bar, chat up with the girls, takd any one of them back to hotel.
6. Order generously, tip generously. Don't sit there nursing a single drink for an hour. Trust me, with the societal hypocrisy, this might as well be your only visit there. So spend some money to make it memorable. You may cherish for your life.
7. Choose a decent hotel, mid range, not the cheapest shit-hole. Near the Walking street or LK metro or Doing Buakhao in Pattaya. Near Sukhumvit in Bangkok. Bike taxis are there so everything is nearby.
8. Wander alone. Spend well. Be confident. Read up on some very well written guides (Google). All the best.
