Then the nightmares of my two long gringa marriages and my really short Mexican marriage bring me back to reality. I am sad to admit that I was stupid enough to marry a gal that I met in a bar in Mexicali. We all live and learn but the reality is ONLY SEX CAN BE FOUND IN THE ZONE.
The fact that I just got out from a concert tonight infused with weed and that I pounded several jack and coke excuses me from any sensibility.
1) what if no sex was conducted (like me on Tuesday)
2) what if sex was conducted OUTSIDE the zone (which happened once for me a while ago, but then, I fucked up the relationship with that girl)
3) what if sex was conducted without the transaction of money (which happened when this girl who worked temporarily in Hong Kong, now returned to Cancun) did. That girl eventually turned down a guy who was going to pay her 300 dlls / night for 5 nights to be with him, she said she couldn't spend time with him since she developed feelings for me, we still stay in touch.
Anyway, just really curious what the seasoned guys have to say about the above.

Just the ramblings of an old man. I don't know if I am seasoned or not, but have been doing P4P for over forty years.
A few things to remember:
1. If their lips are moving they are lying.
2. Do not spend more than you can afford to lose.
3. The one that cares the most in a relationship loses.
From the words that you write you seem like a good guy. For you to actually believe that a lady could not spend 30 seconds to text you for a couple of weeks, is well. Young people all over the world spend hours a day texting. You don't really believe that she couldn't find a spare minute, in two weeks, to text you?
I recently had a favorita (which is very rare for me) at one of the local haunts. She saw me drinking in her bar with another lady. Her panties got all in a bunch. She came over to the table (the other lady was gone) , and I said let's go arriba. She said no, and went up with my amigo instead. He asked if I cared, and I assured him I did not, it was her job. Her intent was to show me, and probably cause friction between my amigo and me. She also phucked my amigo like a champ (he later called it a grudge phuck) , which is out of the ordinary for her. It could just be me, but the first few sessions with her were not like he described, nor what other amigo's have told me. Little did she understand that first, and foremost, in this game it is bro's before ho's. Also what she did was kill the goose that laid the golden egg. I am in town 2-3 times a month, and would session with her, and buy her fichas. I'm sure there has been many to take my place though. I still feel that she is a good person and I hope that she can be civil to me when I see her. What she did opened me up to NEXT! I really don't understand why a lady 1/2 my age, or more, would get jealous about this fat, old fart. Apparently she cared more than I, so at least for the short term, she loses.
Last week I had three ladies, in the same bar, trying very hard to get me to go arriba. Two I had been with previously, and a new one with potential to put in the rotation. One of the ladies I had been with got real snippy with me about her playing NASCAR with me in the seat. I told her that she had better lose the attitude if she ever wanted to go arriba with me again. She immediately changed her attitude, went back to smiles, and being pleasant. Do not even for a second let these women feel that they can control you, you will lose any respect they may have had for you. If you choose to let them have control, you may as well stay in Gringaland.
One of my favorite songs is by Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers is called "Tough & Tender". In it he says that is a way to a young girls heart. IMO, it is very true. Women want a man who can be in control (tough) , but a certain moments when they feel the need, to be tender to them. It confuses the hell out of them, but they love it.
All of this is just IMHO, which isn't even worth dos pesos. Do it your way, but if you are not happy, and thinking thoughts that serve you well, change those thoughts immediately. Life is too short to be thinking negatively, especially when most of my negative thoughts never came to be true anyway.

Side comment about your story, I guess for me, if "my" chick decides to give attention to my guy friend out of spite, then she and I are pretty much over, previously at amnesia, I had this girl twice overnight, but one time she caught me staring at my favorita and she got mad and started making out with a guy friend and took him to get a lap dance.
Only difference is that, my guy friend did not ask me if it was cool, but then, he is a dumb fuck anyways.

But once the gal "thinks" that you love her, she starts talking about needing a car or a boob job or she needs money for her mother's operation (the mother is always somewhere else in Mexico and the gal will wire her the money). Thats when you jump back into reality and instead of a $60 or $100 service, that freebie (if you fall for it) can cost you several thousand dollars. And if you have really fallen for her, you now have a broken heart.
When I had my bar in Mexicali, I used to hear the gals chit chating about this. Don't be fooled....it is only a business for them.

So your gut feeling is they were after you? I can't figure out what substance it could be that is cost-effective to spray it from a bottle and work quickly.
