Trip Report: DIA de la Independencia Event at HK

I did ended up going around 1:00 pm and saw the meseros and a lot of people outside the bar installing decorations, they seem to go big at HK with the outside decorations.
Prologue: I arrived around 1:00 pm to Adelitas first since I wanted to start my day with a 60 dlls girl instead of a 80 hk girl, sadly talent was nowhere to be found, I came out of Adelitas as fast as I came in.
Did a lap around the callejon but nothing catch my eye. Finally I went in HK and decided that I was going to pace myself and not give in to the meseros who are just in the looks for tips, five minutes later I was already 10 dollars down, god dammit. Somehow I spent 10 bucks while going to the restroom tipping the guy who is in there (I felt like I was just giving money to a guy for watching me [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134][CodeWord134][/url]) tips to a mesero who brought me a drink and a girl who was just passing by that asked for 'un dolar'.
15 Sep event:
Arrived and to the bar full of girls wearing a range of Mexican outfits; from real sexy Mexican outfits to just combinations of red and green bikinis. To my surprised I was actually turned on by the Mexican outfits LOL, just when you think you know all your fetishes. Sat down near the foam show, there were more people at bar than usually at this hour (around 1:30). Meseros were trying to earn more tips by asking me if I wanted a girl, but at the time I was only enjoying the view. Decorations were still being put into place and there seemed to be a new platform at the lower part of the bar where something was going to happen later that day but didn't stay long enough to find out. A mesero finally brought Cristina over, a petite spinner with a great ass and fake but not huge tits. After a non-alcoholic drink decided on 70 dllrs, down from 80 (she originally charges 100, or at least that's what she said) to go arriba and had a great session. I took my drink and sat down were I could just enjoy the view and recover for another session. I tried to make my drink last as long as possible, I like to spend my money on girls rather than on drinks LOL. It was after eyeing a girl from across the bar for a long time that I asked the mesero that as soon as she leaves the guy she is with bring her over. After some minutes I am surprised by a kiss in the cheek, which kinda threw me off because I am not used to being ambushed and from past experience my reflexes are always to throw a punch when something gets that close to your face LOL. She was great company, we definitely had chemistry. I was still a little down from my first session so I took my time enjoying her company, which I am glad I did because after 30 minutes they start playing traditional Mexican music and on the main stage, a girl with a 'folklorico' dress and a mesero with a mariachi outfit started a traditional dance. Although it wasn't a 'sexy' dance it was still great to see the glimpses of the Mexican culture show up even if it is in bars like HK. After mocking the mesero for his badly fitted outfit and appreciating the chicas dance I headed upstairs with my girl and had an outstanding session, if I knew how great she was I would have spent 2 sessions with her, but had no more money for the day so just had to said my goodbyes and headed home.
Overall, the event at HK was great, decorations and atmosphere were on point and really felt like a small scale Mexican party. I wonder if it compares with other events or if this is more / less special than others. I would like to ask to the more experience, were are your top events at HK? Or what is the one that I definitely should not miss?

Was not feeling the festive mood of Independence day
I agree with both of you. Personal preference. I like HorseTrader time frame best. Was there on Friday 16th "Independence Day" Arrived 12 ish pm left around 7 ish pm. Missing in action many of my favs. The mesersos explained the fireworks and the show was celebrated at 12:00 pm Thursday night WTF!. Friday is a day off for Mexico. It appeared allot of second tier chicas. The meseros where thick and tripping over each other. My free lap dance and 1 hour arriba was nothing special. I did something different? I ordered the at the table $10.00 steak and potato meal. The meal is not on the back side of the meseros drink trays. Like I said, my free lap dance, 1 hour arriba and meal was nothing special. I will return next week!

I would have done the same
In total even with that $100 tip, you only paid 3150 MX pesos for a solid 3. 5 HR session or 450 MX pesos for a typical 30 min HK BG session (but you had seven of those, consecutively, LOL).
I tipped that chica 300 pesos on top of the 1200 we negotiated for the 2 HR / solid GFE session, definitely would have given more if she asked.
Tipping in these cases is difficult but in a good way, cause we'd like to be generous to a chica when they've been generous with us (paying it forward). It's a lot simpler when the service is bad (I. E. No tip given), haha.

I been to HK a few times and the times I go, the waiters always push for fiche drinks, once even got to 10 drinks before I just said screw it lets go upstairs. Sometimes I just want to sit with the girl to make-out etc, but it seems like the only way they'd stay is if you keep buying drinks? I never tried to stop buying drinks, but for some reason I think the chica would be pissed if the drinks stop coming? The plus side is the girls usually seem more receptive and GFE with the drinks coming?
