But if you do go you can discuss with them ahead of time what you want before taking them with you. And test their english if you want to hang out and chat and not use translator all night. There's been a ton of turnover there in the last 5-8 years both in gogos and girls and total environment and about 3/4 of the gogos big and small became pretty dull or went all in on the chinese / japanese clients instead of western ones. The asain crowd are fine with the girls just standing around in a bikini vs the western crowd that's expecting more of a strip club-type show and at least for the girls to be topless, some gogos do topless, but its the exception now, it used to be almost all of them, its weird and dumb they went away from this, and business definitely took a hit. Prices have also risen, but being SE Asia, prices simply make no sense to anyone, they just kinda make up a price and go with it. You are expected to negotiate take out prices though. Its not mean, its expected, and they hope they get the 1 client that doesn't negotiate and they throw out some high price and you're just like "ok".

Cowboy and Nana kinda rotate back and forth which one is better, usually if one is in a down phase the other is in a better spot.
